A battle was unfolding in the area ahead.
This was a dense forest at the foot of a mountain, located in a remote place, where Lu Fei Fan, Lao Dao, and Lao Wu had stumbled upon each other by chance.
A group of well-organized fighters was besieging a cliff. At the top of the thirty-meter-high cliff, there was a cave. From time to time, a robust and muscular Four-Armed Giant Ape would pound its chest at the cave entrance and roar before retreating inside to violently hurl down stones that were as large as a person!
The stones crashed down, occasionally hitting warriors who were climbing up the vines, sending them plummeting to the ground with groans and spitting blood. Some were even severely injured by the falling rocks.
Lu Fei Fan noticed that the cave was surrounded by countless resilient green vines. If it weren't for the Four-Armed Giant Apes blocking the way, it would be easy for someone to climb up. However, this cave was undoubtedly the home of those Giant Apes, and these people were likely trying to seize something from it.
Leading the climbing operation was Dongfang Jun, who wore two exquisite golden Energy Guns at his waist and dressed in a manner that unmistakably marked him as a Young Master. He directed seven or eight warriors to shoot from the cliff's edge. After a round of fire, two Giant Apes were hit, but their strong bodies did not collapse immediately upon being struck by the Energy Bullets. One particularly large Giant Ape, standing two meters tall, continued to throw down stones even after taking several shots, staggering back into the cave without knowing its fate.
Lu Fei Fan couldn't help but be secretly astonished; these Giant Apes had tough skin and thick flesh, making them resistant to Energy Bullets. Clearly, if he faced one himself, it would be troublesome. Fortunately, he still had the Whale Devouring Sword. Although he could only unleash one-tenth of its power for now, it should be sufficient to deal with these Giant Apes.
Soon enough, the Giant Apes became smarter. They stopped holding stones at the cave entrance and instead retreated into the cave to block their bodies from being easily shot while pushing stones out to knock down any warriors attempting to climb up.
Dongfang Jun appeared somewhat exasperated as he pulled out his golden Energy Gun and fired repeatedly at the cave. Although his aim was decent, all his shots hit the gaps around the entrance without injuring any Giant Apes.
Lu Fei Fan also sensed a powerful and calm presence—Dongfang Hui—sitting cross-legged on a rock behind him, seemingly indifferent to the battle on the cliff.
Next to her was a figure dressed in black combat attire—a Mong Mian Ren—who observed his surroundings with cold eyes, equally uninterested in the commotion above, displaying an air of indifference.
Dongfang Jun's anxiety stemmed from his eagerness to prove himself; he didn't want to disappoint his sister too much. He glanced back at Sh Soul and Duo Hun, who also seemed uninterested in joining the fray. They pretended not to see their young master's pleading gaze.
Frustrated, Dongfang Jun turned away. He knew that Sh Soul and Duo Hun refrained from acting out of fear of angering his sister; after all, this mission had been entrusted to him by her. Yet half an hour had passed, and they still couldn't breach a mere cave at the cliff's mouth.
Those who came through the vortex to Bai Di Cheng were elite members of the Dongfang Family. While they might not match every member of the Lian Family in terms of being Special-Class Generals, they were all essentially Generals.
However, these Four-Armed Giant Apes proved far more challenging than he had anticipated. After pondering for a while, he decided to take a more brute-force approach against these damned Giant Apes.
“Amon, use the Energy Cannon to blast those damned Giant Apes down!” Dongfang Jun called over one of his responsible captains.
The captain nodded and quickly organized two warriors to assemble the cannon they carried on their backs. Meanwhile, those Giant Apes had already sealed off the cave entrance with massive boulders.
Captain Amon called for the climbing warriors to take cover!
Whoosh—
The cannonball shot out of the barrel, hurtling toward the rocks at the cave entrance.
Boom!
The explosion shook the ground, causing the cliff to tremble.
“Not good, get out of the way!” someone shouted, and immediately, others looked up.
Countless rocks, trees, and mud came crashing down. Three warriors who couldn’t escape in time were instantly buried on the cliff, clearly with no hope of survival.
Dongfang Jun was also taken aback, as many warriors looked at him with lingering fear but dared not speak up.
For a moment, Dongfang Jun didn’t know what to do.
Roar!
Thud thud—
A furious roar echoed from the cave entrance. This sound was much louder than that of other Giant Apes, indicating that it was no ordinary Giant Ape.
Bang.
Suddenly, a massive hand smashed through the rocks at the cave entrance, sending countless fragments tumbling down. The warriors, still shaken, jumped down and retreated outside, where they saw the enormous Fellow about to emerge from the cave.
As expected, a large Fellow appeared at the entrance. Its body was covered in white fur with hard, steel-like bristles. Standing at least three meters tall, its coarse red face and thick arms made the other Giant Apes behind it shriek in fear. Clearly, this White Giant Ape was their leader; however, it was strange that this Giant Ape had six arms.
The Six-Armed Giant Ape glared angrily at the humans attacking its cave entrance, pounding its chest with a thunderous sound that echoed like a drum. Its imposing presence overshadowed the already shaken Dongfang Family warriors.
Dongfang Jun snatched a Fire God Cannon from a nearby warrior, gritting his teeth as he aimed it at the cave entrance. With a fierce determination, he pulled the trigger on the white Six-Armed Giant Ape, unleashing a barrage of bullets that erupted from the cannon like fiery serpents raining down upon the entrance.
The light bullets struck the cave entrance like blades in a fierce rain, sending countless fragments of stone and mud flying. Several Giant Apes were hit by the large-caliber bullets, howling in pain.
The body of the White Giant Ape was also subjected to the onslaught of the Fire God Cannon. However, it took a deep breath, its chest swelling dramatically, and then unleashed a spray of white froth that shot out like acid rain. The incoming Fire God Cannon bullets were instantly frozen in mid-air!
This display shocked Dongfang Jun and the group of warriors.
Dongfang Jun's expression grew grave as he once again lifted the Fire God Cannon, firing it at the beast with a series of loud pops.
Yet, the Giant Ape inhaled deeply once more and expelled another torrent of white froth. The bullets from the Fire God Cannon that sped toward it were all frozen solid within a ten-meter radius of its saliva, crashing to the ground as ice blocks.
"This..." The warriors were left in awe by the White Giant Ape's display of power.
But that was not the end; it seemed that the White Giant Ape had set its sights on Dongfang Jun. Narrowing its eyes, it glared at the human wielding the Fire God Cannon at its doorstep, its gaze filled with murderous intent. Clearly holding a grudge, it suddenly picked up several boulders the size of fists and hurled them at Dongfang Jun with lightning speed!
Whoosh—whoosh—
The stones tore through the air with such velocity that they created sonic booms upon breaking through. The sheer power and speed of these projectiles were terrifying.
Dongfang Jun's face turned pale; he had not expected this White Giant Ape to attack him from such a distance. Moreover, these stones moved faster than artillery shells. With his half-baked Pulse Energy, he realized he wouldn't have time to dodge or raise a Pulse Energy shield in defense. Even if he managed to do so, it might not withstand such an assault.
The air twisted as the stones approached—boom! Boom! Boom!
The boulders shattered explosively.
The White Giant Ape paused momentarily, while Lu Fei Fan, who had been observing from the shadows, sensed that someone had intervened—it was Dongfang Hui, who had been meditating atop a stone.
However, Lu Fei Fan could not clearly see how Dongfang Hui had acted.
Dongfang Hui opened his eyes and looked at the White Giant Ape at the cave entrance. The ape, enraged and humiliated, pounded its chest and let out a furious roar before picking up several massive stones to throw again at both Dongfang Hui and Dongfang Jun.
The stones raced toward them with astonishing speed, but as they entered the airspace occupied by Dongfang Hui and his companions, they seemed to be ensnared by an invisible force. They trembled slightly in mid-air before ultimately succumbing to the pressure and exploding into fragments.
"This is... Mind Domain!" Lao Wu exclaimed suddenly in a hushed tone, fearing someone might overhear him as he quickly covered his mouth.
Fortunately, the few people were at a distance, and those from the east did not notice them. Lu Fei Fan and Lao Dao both looked at Lao Wu, who patiently explained in a low voice, "Have you heard of the Mind Weaver? That’s the domain produced by the Mind Storm!"
Lu Fei Fan seemed to grasp certain points, pondering over it.
"What does that mean?" Lao Dao asked, confused.
Lao Wu looked at him seriously and explained, "Every Mind Empowered Individual that generates a Mind Storm has a domain range. Within this Mind Domain, they can defend and attack, but not all Mind Weavers possess a Mind Domain; after all, it is rare."
Lu Fei Fan understood now. So that was how it was. In his earlier battle with Bian Jian, the domain of Fei Hua Liu Xuan Zhuan was actually the controllable range of his Mind Storm. No wonder Bian Jian was restricted in combat power within his Mind Domain.
Clearly, if the ability of the Mind Storm is stronger, the domain will also be stronger.
It seemed he needed to focus on cultivating this aspect; it could effectively counter many opponents.
Meanwhile, Dongfang Hui's figure flashed as the stone she had been sitting on exploded into pieces. She shot up like a cannonball towards the cave entrance. The White Giant Ape roared and lunged at Dongfang Hui, raising its massive fists to strike her down. If this slender woman were hit by those two giant arms, she would surely be crushed into a pulp.
Surprisingly, she lightly raised her hand and caught one of those fists—larger than her own body—with just one hand!
The White Giant Ape was taken aback by this seemingly unimpressive woman. She coldly pushed aside the Giant Ape's fist. The Giant Ape roared in anger and swung its remaining four arms down towards Dongfang Hui once more.
Naturally, Dongfang Hui would not give it that chance. With her other hand clenched into a fist, she delivered a powerful strike directly to the Giant Ape's thick abdomen, which was proud of its muscle. The Giant Ape bent backward like a cannonball and shot into the cave with a loud crash, leaving its fate uncertain.
Lu Fei Fan, along with Lao Dao and Lao Wu, gaped at that slender figure whose cloak billowed behind her like a powerful mountain peak that seemed insurmountable.
The sound of swallowed breaths echoed among the warriors of the Dongfang Family; this display of terrifying strength truly exceeded their expectations.
Even more astonishing events followed as Dongfang Hui began to step into the cave. The frightened Giant Apes retreated in fear. With each step she took, tremors shook the cave like an earthquake; initially loud roars from the monkeys gradually fell silent.
After some time, she emerged from the cave holding a bright red fruit as large as a human head. She leaped down gracefully and tossed it to a masked man, who stowed it away in his nano-space equipment.
"It’s the Azure Feather Spirit Fruit!"
The Azure Feather Spirit Fruit is a rare spiritual fruit required for advancing to godhood. It is extremely scarce in the world; consuming it greatly increases one's chances of promotion. It is said that one can sell for hundreds of millions on the market, much like the Jinwu Holy Blood Pill—both are valuable yet hard to come by.
Lu Fei Fan couldn't help but feel a stir of excitement, but the strength displayed by Dongfang Hui was overwhelmingly powerful. It would be difficult for him to snatch anything from the other party's hands. Weighing his options, he decided it was wiser not to take unnecessary risks.
At that moment, a sudden change occurred at the mountain peak.

A beam of light shot up from the summit, swirling through the chaotic clouds in the sky.
Dongfang Hui and his group halted. Dongfang Hui squinted his eyes and said gravely, "Hurry up!"
Dongfang Jun, visibly displeased, urged everyone to quickly leave the area and head towards the cluster of buildings at the mountain's peak.
Lu Fei Fan also noticed the strange phenomenon.
"Treasure is appearing!" Lao Wu swiftly crawled out from the hidden bushes, dusting himself off as he hurried up the mountain.
Upon hearing about the treasure, Lao Dao quickly followed suit. Lu Fei Fan initially planned to join them, but his curiosity got the better of him. He glanced at the Giant Ape Cave where Dongfang Hui had previously entered. Watching Lao Wu and Lao Dao disappear into the distance, he weighed his options and decided to check out the cave where the Giant Ape resided.
