As a Little Donkey, Xuan Ling took great pride in having Jing Yuan as her master!
He was handsome and gentle, and most importantly, he treated her well!
She had been chosen to be Mr. Jing Yuan's mount, making all the infatuated divine beasts envious and resentful.
Moreover, it seemed she had developed feelings for Mr. Jing Yuan.
Every time he rode her, she felt a rush of warmth all over! How embarrassing!
Xuan Ling waited by the stream for Mr. Jing Yuan, curling up with her eyes half-closed from exhaustion.
Just as she was deep in slumber, she suddenly felt a weight on her back. Startled, she opened her eyes wide and let out a cry—how could a drunken man climb onto her?
The man reeked of alcohol, grinning broadly as he patted her rear. "Little Donkey, I'm tired. Take me back."
Xuan Ling's face flushed with anger! She vowed to be nothing but Mr. Jing Yuan's mount!
Was her "innocence" going to be ruined by this jerk?
She twisted her body to throw the man off and then transformed into her human form, grabbing a branch to hit him fiercely. "This is what you get for being blind and bullying others!"
What if Mr. Jing Yuan found out? Would he think less of her?
The more Xuan Ling thought about it, the more anxious and furious she became, venting her frustrations without thinking.
The man didn't take her strength seriously at all; with a casual motion, he reached out and caught her flailing body.
"Are you a celestial beast?"
Xuan Ling snorted through her nostrils.
The man raised the corners of his mouth, "Little Beast, I love bullying celestial beasts the most."

Jing Quan put a collar around her neck and took her back. Xuan Ling struggled helplessly; the dignified mount of a celestial being had been kidnapped by a demon...
A few mountain spirits approached to pay their respects. "Lord Jing Quan, judging by your expression, did you win this time?"
Jing Quan smiled brightly, "Yes, I won."
He even brought back a Little Beast. He pinched her flushed face and said, "Little Beast, from today on, you are my mount. You must serve me well."
Xuan Ling was somewhat dumbfounded; she would rather die than submit!
She had to maintain her "innocence," but it seemed like she had already been ridden by him? Xuan Ling glared at him in indignation.
She had to escape!
He was too wicked. Xuan Ling picked fresh fruit to get closer to the guarding Little Demon, but suddenly the collar around her neck tightened, and Jing Quan pulled her back to his side.
"Little Beast, what are you doing?"
His narrow eyes narrowed slightly, sending chills down her spine.
Xuan Ling felt guilty and changed the subject, "Stop calling me Little Beast! My name is Xuan Ling!"
"Such a lovely name given by the master!"
Jing Quan ignored her displeasure and said, "Little Beast, come with me."
"What for?"
Could it be that he was going to set her free?!
Jing Quan turned back with a smile, "To assist me with my bath."
Xuan Ling was slow to react, and it wasn't until they reached the mountain spring that she realized she should resist. "Y-You can't take off your clothes... You'll get needle marks!"
She had never even seen her master's body! There was no way she wanted to see it now!
But Jing Quan paid her no mind. He removed his outer robe and began to pose provocatively in front of Xuan Ling... She covered her face but couldn't help her curiosity, peeking through her fingers to catch a glimpse of his lean, muscular form. Heat surged within her, rising straight to her head!
The scene was too overwhelming; Xuan Ling couldn't hold on any longer and fainted.
"Run again, and you'll be swallowed whole!"
Xuan Ling shrank back, wondering why this old monster was so angry.
After a moment, Jing Quan's anger subsided. "Are you trying to escape?"
Xuan Ling dared not look at him, stammering, "Um, did you bring me here because you want to eat me?"
Jing Quan's gaze softened as he pondered, "Well, although you're thin and small and lack... assets, if you willingly offer yourself, I might consider eating you."
Xuan Ling felt her cheeks flush, wondering if she still had any dignity left.
Jing Quan was heading out to visit friends, and Xuan Ling smiled as she bid farewell, "Lord Jing Quan, safe travels!"
Had Xuan Ling truly submitted? Not a chance! It was only after Jing Quan left that she could make her escape.
She treated the remaining guards to drinks, listening to their boastful tales about Jing Quan's illustrious history. Once all the Little Demons were drugged and unconscious, Xuan Ling kicked the ground in frustration.
The terrain outside the palace was winding and treacherous. As Xuan Ling focused on finding her way, a sudden gust of chilling wind swept her off her feet and into the air.
Xuan Ling screamed, and when she turned to look behind her, she nearly bit her tongue—she had been captured by the Great Eagle!
"What are you doing? Let me go!"
"Little Celestial Beast, catching you has wasted me quite a bit of time!"
Xuan Ling was stunned. Why did it want her? The Great Eagle looked quite pleased with itself. "The meat of a celestial beast truly has an irresistible aroma!"
Xuan Ling was indeed a celestial beast, one that had been training under Mr. Jing Yuan. Consuming her flesh would enhance magical powers, and the monsters had long been eyeing her hungrily.
Xuan Ling felt exasperated; why had she been getting caught so often lately?
