Ma Xingyu watched as a capable soldier entered the Eagle Wing Guard's camp, unable to suppress a smirk. Beside him, Wei Jing appeared somewhat agitated.
"Are they really just going to let this kid settle in so easily?"
Things wouldn't be that simple. Ma Xingyu chuckled softly, deciding it was time to be straightforward. "The Qintianjian has made a discovery. There may be a Divine Weapon near Anque City."
Wei Jing was taken aback, narrowing his eyes as he scrutinized Ma Xingyu, as if seeing his long-time colleague from Qian Ren Jiang for the first time.
"That's impossible," Wei Jing shook his head. "There's going to be fighting near Anque City. Our Di Sha Zhan Bu and the Azure Wolf Kingdom's Chita Legion are practically turning the nearby mountains upside down. The constant upheaval of spiritual energy has left the area barren; no relics could possibly remain hidden in such an environment."
"There’s no mistake," Ma Xingyu said firmly. Seeing Wei Jing's skepticism, he pulled him aside, his eyes glinting with a mysterious light.
"The calculations from the Qintianjian are precise; this time will be no exception. I'll be blunt—today is my last day here."
"The Second Prince's guards have already contacted me. If I can help them pinpoint the exact location of the Divine Weapon, I’ll be granted military authority!"
"How do you plan to investigate?" Wei Jing waved his hand dismissively. "You know the current situation; war could break out at any moment. We don’t have that opportunity!"
Ma Xingyu replied earnestly, "Have you forgotten our duty in the Eagle Wing Guard? We’re not just fighters; our primary role is intelligence gathering!"
Lowering his voice and leaning closer to Wei Jing, he continued, "It’s said that this Divine Weapon is extraordinary, possessing the power to alter the very fabric of reality and influence the entire course of battle. If that’s true, do you think ordinary search methods will suffice to find it?"
Wei Jing's brow furrowed tightly, clearly shocked and unsettled by this revelation. Such information, if leaked, could incite even greater turmoil between their two nations.
"This is the crux of the problem," Ma Xingyu said in a low voice. "There has been no movement from the Azure Wolf Kingdom; they may not even know about this news. This means that this time, it's just our own people competing against each other."
Wei Jing replied, "I know your family has some influence, but can your power really surpass that of the Second Prince? Don't you want your family to advance further? Trust me, this is an excellent opportunity!"
After pondering for a moment, Wei Jing asked, "What do you plan to do?"
Ma Xingyu's gaze was resolute. "I need you to lead an elite team to secretly head to the vicinity of Anque City and carefully search according to the clues provided by Qintianjian. Meanwhile, I will contact spies from other factions to see if there is more information regarding the Divine Weapon. Remember, this matter is of great importance; we must be cautious and ensure that no word gets out."
Wei Jing spread his hands. "Even if I want to help, what about that newcomer, Chen Feng?"
Ma Xingyu sneered. "He's just a pawn. Chen Feng is the Prince's man. What do you think the Prince sent him here for? It's nothing but to keep an eye on Di Sha Jiang Jun. Tiger Brother observed the equipped treasures and said to Chen Moxuan beside him, "I thought that as part of the Eagle Wing Guard under Di Sha Zhan Bu, we would be entrusted with the most dangerous missions, and our soldiers would be top-notch in both skill and equipment."

Moments later, it abruptly turned its head to look at Chen Moxuan, its eyes glinting with a light that spoke of intrigue. "Kid, I didn't expect you to be so lucky. I sense a very powerful aura. If I'm not mistaken, a Divine Weapon is about to break free from its seal!"
At that moment, Tiger Brother found the situation quite amusing.
Chen Moxuan raised an eyebrow at this revelation, surprise flickering in his eyes. "Are you sure? That's quite unexpected news!"
"Of course I'm sure! Are you doubting my abilities?" Tiger Brother replied with irritation.
Chen Moxuan contemplated for a moment before his gaze turned resolute. "If there really is a Divine Weapon emerging, it could be a great opportunity for us. However, if we can sense it, others will likely find out too. We need to prepare quickly; there may be plenty of competitors."
Tiger Brother nodded in agreement. "Yeah, especially since we might run into those from Ten Thousand Demons Mountain. Even if they aren't specifically after this artifact, we should be cautious if they decide to stir up trouble."
Both man and tiger understood that once this news spread, it would surely cause turmoil across the battlefield. If they could locate the Divine Weapon first, it might significantly enhance Chen Feng's strength.
