Zheng Mengni silently shed tears, her sorrow soaking Tan Yan's shoulder. She struggled to breathe, trying her best to keep her voice from trembling too much.

Tan Yan let out a self-deprecating laugh. "Little connection? It's just that you haven't recognized me." He tightened his embrace, trying to offer this cold, icy figure in his arms as much warmth as he could.
