Rong Jiayi listened carefully and then suddenly smiled.

Rong Jiayi looked up, and the gazes of the two men met in the air, causing the surrounding temperature to drop slightly. He nodded lightly at Xiao Yu before deeply gazing at Song Feiwan one last time and then boarded his carriage to leave.
As Song Feiwan turned to enter the carriage, she heard Xiao Yu's cool voice: "It seems that the princess and my cousin get along quite well."
She showed a puzzled expression. "How can you tell?"
"Lord Rong is only giving you a bit of face because of his position in court," she replied politely.
Xiao Yu paused for a moment before bursting into laughter.
"So, it's a case of unrequited love?" He felt a bit sympathetic towards Rong Jiayi.
Without reminding Song Feiwan of anything, Xiao Yu's dark eyes sparkled with a faint smile as he boarded the carriage after her.
"Where does the princess wish to go?"
Song Feiwan was confused by his sudden change in mood. Keeping her guard up, she countered, "Can I go anywhere I want?"
Xiao Yu:
Song Feiwan: "Then I would like to visit the medical clinic; I haven't been there for several days."
Xiao Yu felt a bit displeased.
In the capital, there were so many places to visit; even the mansion would suffice, yet what she longed for most was her shabby clinic. As the esteemed Prince of Chen, he could not go back on his word and instructed the carriage driver, "To the clinic."
The carriage creaked along the road, and half an hour later, they arrived at the back door of the clinic.
"Your Highness, I cannot attend to you as I must go inside," she said hurriedly. Fearing that Xiao Yu might change his mind, she lifted her skirts and dashed away.
Xiao Yu watched her figure disappear through the door and let out a faint chuckle.
"Come in," he said lightly.
In the shadows, Zhuo Da and Zhuo Er immediately appeared, kneeling on one knee to pay their respects. "Your Highness."
Since they were present, he knew that the ears around them had been silenced, allowing him to speak freely.
As the two prepared to report on official matters, Xiao Yu's first command was unexpected: "Go see what she is doing."
Even Zhuo Er understood that he was referring to the princess. After a brief pause, he complied and slipped into the clinic.
Soon after, he returned to report, "Your Highness, the princess has instructed the clinic staff to issue five numbers for consultations."
Xiao Yu scoffed.
"What a unique way to unwind."
"Get me a number."
"Oh? She wants to see a doctor? Then let me have a look too."
