Van Loon Slowly coming to in the darkness, he felt his body cold and damp. He was shocked to find himself sitting naked in a dark corner, surrounded only by silence and darkness. He cautiously felt his body, everything seemed the same as before, except for the intense pain in his head. It felt as if his head was being struck by a heavy hammer, and each heartbeat intensified the pain. 0

He struggled to stand up, but the pain in his head made it nearly impossible to concentrate. He felt as though the darkness around him was swallowing his consciousness, plunging him into chaos. He tried to prop himself up, seeking support, but in the darkness, he couldn't see or touch anything. His hands continued to search in the darkness, but all they found was the cold air and damp ground. 0

Van Loon slowly felt a creeping sense of fear in his heart. He began to ponder whether this could be the afterlife - a world of nothingness and darkness. A tinge of regret and helplessness surged within him. He regretted not avoiding that freight car and not being able to protect himself. Yet, he was unwilling to give up. He struggled to recall some memories, to understand his situation, but the pain in his head prevented him from concentrating. 0

Van Loon made an effort to breathe, trying to stay conscious. He didn't know what to do, nor did he know if there were other beings in this dark world. He felt an unprecedented loneliness and fear, as if he had been forgotten by the world in this darkness. He wanted to shout, to find a way out, but the silence in the darkness made him feel hopeless. 0

A boiling sense of helplessness and anger engulfed him in this darkness and emptiness, and he felt an unprecedented despair. His fists clenched tightly, then he forcefully slammed them into the floor below. He wanted to vent his dissatisfaction and pain in this way, but to his shock, when his fists hit the floor, he felt nothing. It was as if his fists passed through empty space, with no feedback, no sensation of pain. 0

At that moment, Van Loon couldn't help but cry. His tears silently slid down in the darkness, splashing onto the cold floor. His heart was filled with confusion and pain. Why did he have such a fate, why was he born into the Cult family, why did he just see a glimmer of hope in life, only to suddenly encounter such misfortune? 0

His heart was filled with dissatisfaction and anger towards fate. He thought of his parents, their expectations of him, and the efforts they made for him to have a new life. He felt a sense of unprecedented loss and felt like he was being toyed with by fate. 0

In his heart, there surged a feeling of helplessness and incomprehension towards fate. Why did fate treat him like this? Why did he encounter such a disaster just as he was beginning to try for a new life? All this injustice made him feel angry, but he was powerless. 0

Van Loon was crying in the darkness, filled with despair for the future. He wanted to struggle, to find a way out, but there was nowhere to go. He felt trapped in this darkness and emptiness, unable to break free. His heart was filled with despair for life, but he was unwilling to end it like this. 0

In this boundless darkness, Van Loon suddenly heard a scornful and mocking laughter, causing his heart to tighten instantly. The laughter was full of disdain and mockery, making Van Loon feel an unprecedented unease. Along with the laughter, a cold voice pierced his ears: "Why are you here so early? Aren't you only eighteen?" The voice was cold, carrying an unreasonable mockery, as if mocking Van Loon's ignorance and helplessness. 0

With those cold words, Van Loon saw a pair of blue-flamed eyes shining in the darkness. These eyes seemed to emerge suddenly from the depths of the darkness, exuding an unfathomable and threatening aura that filled Van Loon with an unprecedented fear. He didn't know what this presence before him was, but from those eyes, he felt an irresistible threat and malice. 0

As those eyes appeared, Van Loon heard the sound of dragging footsteps. The sound was cold and hollow, as if coming from another world, filling Van Loon's heart with an indescribable fear. He didn't know what would happen next, but he felt a sense of ominous foreboding. 0

Van Loon Wanting to retreat, wanting to get away from this ominous presence, but he found himself unable to move. His body seemed to be controlled by an invisible force, unable to budge. He felt a binding force that he couldn't resist, leaving him feeling hopeless. 0

His heart was filled with fear, but he couldn't make any resistance. He could only watch as those eyes, shimmering with blue flames, drew closer, and his fear grew stronger. He didn't know what would happen next, but he knew that the presence before him was definitely not a kind creature. 0

In that suffocating darkness, the creature slowly emerged from the darkness and walked towards him. As the creature approached, Van Loon could clearly see its appearance. It was a demon with deep red skin, black wings with a purple sheen. The demon was of medium build, but graceful in its movements, giving off an unpredictable vibe. Its eyes burned with blue flames, seemingly able to see into Van Loon's soul. 0

The demon walked up to Van Loon and stopped in front of him. It looked at Van Loon and smiled slightly, a smile filled with inexplicable humor and mockery. It reached out a hand, with long, black nails, and gently touched Van Loon's cheek, as if savoring something. 0

Van Loon He could feel the cold touch of the demon's fingers, his heart filled with fear, but his body remained motionless. He couldn't understand everything in front of him, didn't know what the demon wanted to do, and didn't know what fate awaited him. 0
