Ruan Fuxi and Sheng Yanzhou did not linger long in the capital city and quickly returned to the city. Her concern about the capital was mainly for her family, but with her own defenses in place and the people of Sili watching over them, there was no need for excessive worry.
Ruan Fuxi was still thinking about repairing her Star Plate before the upcoming exchange conference. After landing in the city, she moved her belongings from the apartment to the hillside villa. All these renovations were arranged by Sheng Yanzhou. His company had a construction division, making such projects quick and convenient to execute. From the garden to the villa itself, Ruan Fuxi had reconfigured everything according to feng shui principles, ensuring that the layout reflected her preferences. Therefore, after moving in, she found herself enjoying every corner of the villa.
Soon, Ruan Fuxi found a piece of open land around the villa where she could begin repairing her Star Plate. She took out her refining furnace along with her materials and set up arrays for gathering spirit energy, defense, and isolation before starting her work.
As the temperature of the refining furnace gradually increased, the materials inside began to melt. Ruan Fuxi controlled the output of spiritual energy, drawing out the molten solution from the furnace into fine strands of liquid metal, which she carefully injected into the cracks of the damaged Star Plate.
Time passed slowly, and Ruan Fuxi dared not relax for even a moment. She hoped to take advantage of this repair opportunity to upgrade her Star Plate as well.
After all, using her own refining materials was much better than the equipment on the Star Disk before. If she could upgrade the Star Disk from a magical tool to a spiritual tool, that would be fantastic.

Ruan Fuxi knew that her spiritual energy was insufficient to sustain a long conversation, so she quickly asked several questions that concerned her most. The most important one was how she and Yan Zhou could return to the cultivation world.
The heavens appreciated her efforts during this time and were generous with their answers; they shared everything Ruan Fuxi asked about. It wasn't until the white light on the Star Disk flickered and disappeared that Ruan Fuxi lost her connection with the heavens.
However, she felt that she had gathered enough information. Remembering their earlier communication, her eyes sparkled with excitement.
