Ruan Fuxi felt even happier at this moment. She leaned over and planted a kiss on Sheng Yanzhou's cheek. With a bright smile, she praised him, "Well done!"
Sheng Yanzhou had no grievances with the Mountain Sect; his actions were solely for her sake. Moreover, Ruan Fuxi understood that completing the relevant procedures for Yunshan in such a short time was no easy feat. She couldn't help but wonder what efforts Sheng Yanzhou had made behind the scenes.

His cultivation and metaphysical skills were not as formidable as hers, so he could only channel his frustrations through her.
"As long as you're happy," he thought. "Xiaoxi, I haven't said anything to the Mountain Sect yet, but if they make a move against you, I'll send word immediately."
Ruan Fuxi nodded with a smile. "Yes, you're right. If this matter can be resolved with Tong's death, I have no intention of causing trouble for the Mountain Sect. After all, the feng shui arrangement of the Ruan family was all done by Tong alone and has nothing to do with them. If the Mountain Sect remains stubborn, then they can't blame me."
Sheng Yanzhou looked at Ruan Fuxi's smile and felt that everything he did was worth it. They chatted for a while in the car before it came to a stop at the entrance of an alley. The vehicle could go no further.
Ruan Fuxi got out and instructed Sheng Yanzhou to wait for her in the car. It wasn't that she didn't want to take him along; she knew that only those affiliated with the Institute of Natural Phenomena Research could enter.
She walked into the alley and finally stopped at a courtyard deep within it.
It looked no different from any other house, plain and unremarkable, lacking any special signs or labels. If she hadn't confirmed the address was correct, Ruan Fuxi would have thought she had come to the wrong place.
She stood at the entrance for a moment, then noticed a few small words to the side:
"Institute of Supernatural Research."
Ruan Fuxi's lips twitched; if she hadn't been paying close attention, she might have missed it entirely. The words were written in a ballpoint pen. How simple and unadorned. It certainly looked rather unreliable.
However, since she was already here and the location was indeed correct, Ruan Fuxi decided to step inside.
As soon as she entered the courtyard, she felt that the spiritual energy inside was much denser than outside. She glanced around and spotted several small spirit gathering formations.
"Ruan Xiaoyou, I knew you would come! Come have some tea!"
The voice of Gao Li rang out.
Following the sound, Ruan Fuxi saw Gao Li brewing tea in the main house. She smiled and walked over.
"Master Gao."
Opposite Gao Li sat another man who appeared to be around his age.
"This is Master Yuan Qi, also a member of the institute," Gao Li introduced him.
Ruan Fuxi greeted him as well.
"Master Yuan."
Master Yuan seemed very approachable and nodded gently at her.
"Ruan Xiaoyou."
