Tang and Wu, who were both surnamed, were said to have no relation, but she found that hard to believe. Wu was Tang's uncle. Ruan Fuxi nodded and took out a stack of talismans meant for exorcism.

The Ruan family and Tang's family were caught in this scheme; if their actions were discovered by the Ruan family, they would surely face consequences. Consequently, members of the Ruan family were also ensnared in this plot.
After eliminating both families, Wu's family took over their responsibilities within the sect.
After learning all this, Ruan Fuxi was truly disgusted by the Wu family. Their methods were truly malicious, nearly wiping out the Ruan and Liang families because of these matters. If it weren't for Ruan Changlin and Tang escaping during their childhood, they would have likely been dead long ago.
