Sheng Yanzhou sat in the car, while outside, students cast amazed and envious glances his way. At that moment, Ruan Fuxi was walking towards the school gate with Yang Zhaozhao. As they chatted casually, she inadvertently looked up.
In the crowd, Sheng Yanzhou spotted her at a glance. For a brief moment, a hint of a smile unconsciously appeared in his eyes as he got out of the car.
Ruan Fuxi seemed to sense something through the tinted glass and paused in her steps. Yang Zhaozhao was about to ask her something when she noticed Sheng Yanzhou not far away.
Yang Zhaozhao's eyes widened in excitement, and she nudged Ruan Fuxi playfully. "Looks like you won't be able to hang out with me today; your rich boyfriend is here."
She urged Ruan Fuxi to go ahead while she stepped aside, ready to enjoy the scene openly. "So sweet, hehe."
With Sheng Yanzhou's arrival, a stir erupted at the school gate. Ruan Fuxi looked at him and quickly walked over. Sheng Yanzhou naturally took her hand.
Ruan Fuxi smiled up at him. "What brings you here unexpectedly?"
Sheng Yanzhou smiled back, leading her towards the car. "I came to pick you up after class."
Upon hearing this, Ruan Fuxi's smile brightened even more as she leaned against his shoulder. "You missed me, didn't you?"
Sheng Yanzhou affectionately ruffled her hair. "Yes, I missed you." From the very first day apart, his longing had never ceased for even a moment.
The sight of them holding hands and smiling sent whispers through the surrounding students.
"Quick, take a picture! It's too sweet!"
Yesterday, Mr. Sheng was caught in a scandal in the capital, and today he specifically flew in to pick Sister Ruan up from work. He really loves her!

Ruan Fuxi and Sheng Yanzhou got into the car and left the school, heading back to her rented apartment.
As Sheng Yanzhou followed Ruan Fuxi inside, he frowned at the sight of the nearly one-hundred-square-meter apartment. Feeling a bit distressed, he said, "Xiao Xi, this apartment is too small. I have a place nearby; you should move in there."
Ruan Fuxi smiled and replied, "No, I've already paid the rent for this one. It's enough for me and my ghost."
Besides, she had a villa halfway up the mountain that she should be able to transfer ownership of in a few days.
Seeing that she didn't want to move, Sheng Yanzhou stopped insisting and said, "Then I'll give you all my properties in the city, including the keys and everything else. If you get tired of living here, you can always switch places."
Ruan Fuxi nodded with a smile. "Sounds good."
Having money really does make one generous.
After a moment of thought, she asked, "How long will you be staying in the city? Where will you live?"
Sheng Yanzhou replied, "I've arranged everything in the capital; I'll be in the city for the time being. As for where I'm staying..." He paused for a moment before continuing, "I'll be living in that nearby apartment."
He swallowed back the words he wanted to say about staying here with her.
Ruan Fuxi looked at him with a playful glint in her eyes. Her expression turned coy as she let her gaze linger on him.
