Ruan Fuxi glanced over the crowd and realized that most of her classmates were present. When she looked up, she met the eager gazes of her peers.
Ruan Fuxi rubbed her forehead and said, "I haven't logged in recently, but I will accept everyone's friend requests once I get home." After noticing the sparkling eyes of her classmates, she added, "If anyone wants to ask me for fortune-telling, feel free to send me a message. I'll reply when I see it. But if your life is happy and you haven't encountered any issues, I wouldn't recommend it."
Upon hearing Ruan Fuxi's words, her classmates responded eagerly: "Don't worry, we know!"
"Hey, little Xi, accept my request first! I want to be the first to ask!"
"No way! I want to be the first!"
In everyone's impression, Ruan Fuxi didn't interact much with her classmates and had a mediocre relationship with her roommates. From her usual speech and actions, it was clear that she had a rather proud personality. As a result, she didn't have many friends in class.
It was only after watching the variety show "Island King" that everyone realized how impressive she actually was and that her personality seemed quite appealing. This prompted some of them to tentatively strike up conversations with her when they saw her earlier.
To their surprise, she actually responded!
It seemed they had previously misunderstood Ruan Fuxi due to their lack of understanding about her; they thought she was aloof and uninterested in mingling with her classmates.
Unbeknownst to Ruan Fuxi, she was touched by how enthusiastic her classmates were about fortune-telling. After collecting the textbooks for the semester and greeting everyone, she left.
Her classmates couldn't help but sigh as they watched her retreating figure.
"How did we not realize before that Fuxi was this amazing?"
"If we had known earlier, we would have been clinging to her for support!"
Soon after, another classmate chimed in, "I never thought she was this pretty either. Even with a mask on, you can tell she's stunning."
"Enough already! We're both twenty years old; she's out there building a career with millions of fans online, being adored by everyone, and dating a handsome billionaire. How can we even compare?"
What’s the big deal? Others have gone at just twenty; we’re still alive, aren’t we?
When Ruan Fuxi returned to her apartment, she encountered a young and beautiful girl in the elevator. The girl had on exquisite makeup and was holding her phone up, seemingly live streaming.
Wearing a mask, Ruan Fuxi stepped back a little when she noticed the girl was broadcasting, wanting to avoid accidentally getting into the frame. However, the girl, upon seeing Ruan Fuxi for the first time, looked a bit surprised and then puzzled. This beauty seemed somewhat familiar. Perhaps it was because of the mask that she couldn’t recognize her.
Ding!
The elevator arrived. As the girl was about to step out, Ruan Fuxi frowned slightly after catching a glimpse of her face.
“Wait a moment,” Ruan Fuxi called out.
The girl paused in confusion. “Is there something you need?”
With only the two of them in the elevator, Ruan Fuxi was certain that the girl was addressing her.
Ruan Fuxi said, “I see that your fortune is dim; there’s a shadow over your brow. You might be facing some misfortune.”
The girl instinctively wanted to laugh at this. “Miss, are you really into novels? How can you tell my fortune just by looking at me?”
Ruan Fuxi sighed helplessly. “Have you recently moved to this neighborhood and just gone through a breakup?”
The girl momentarily forgot about interacting with her online audience and nodded in response. “How did you know?”
Ruan Fuxi continued, “Your ex-boyfriend had a bad temper and was very controlling. He often hit you when you were together, which is why you couldn’t stand it anymore and decided to break up, right?”
