Lin Rou and her two assistants instinctively took a few steps back, their faces pale with fear. The wig had completely lost its black hue, now radiating an eerie red, as if it had been soaked in human blood.

The female assistant beside Lin Rou couldn’t contain herself and let out a shrill scream. The combination of the blood-red hair and the faceless crimson visage was terrifying beyond measure. She truly couldn’t hold back her fear.
Lin Rou felt frightened too but managed to stifle her scream. At that moment, the face seemed to sense their presence; it suddenly turned its head and fixed its gaze directly on Lin Rou.
Her heart raced as she instinctively sensed danger. Before she could react, the face erupted with an overwhelming hatred and lunged toward her.
Lin Rou’s eyes widened in terror as she tried to run, only to realize that her legs had turned to jelly from fright and wouldn’t move.
Desperate and on the verge of tears, she looked at Ruan Fuxi for help.
“Sister Ruan, save me!”
Ruan Fuxi glanced at her, a hint of amusement flickering in her eyes. Was this what she called bravery?
Lin Rou looked at the smile in her eyes and felt like crying even more. She was wrong; she wasn't brave at all. She should have listened to Xiao Xi and retreated earlier.
As the ghostly face approached, Lin Rou felt that she couldn't run away, so she simply closed her eyes. "Let it be," she thought.
Ruan Fu Xi smiled helplessly at her demeanor; the personality of this actress was quite interesting. Then, she turned her attention to the ghostly face, her expression growing serious. With a flick of her fingers, spiritual energy leaked out, weaving into a tight cage that trapped the entity inside.
The ghostly face, realizing it was confined, became furious and began to thrash about angrily. At this moment, it had completely lost its sanity, only remembering its desire for revenge.
