Ruan Fuxi jumped off the Great White Shark and turned around to pat its head. The shark seemed reluctant to leave, looking up at her with a charming grin.
Ruan Fuxi smiled and tossed a Vitality Pill into its mouth. "Alright, you should head back to the sea now. Promise me you won't harm anyone in the future."
The Great White Shark appeared to understand, wagging its tail joyfully and even nodding in agreement. After casting a few reluctant glances at Ruan Fuxi, it finally turned and swam away.
Ruan Fuxi walked onto the beach and dropped her full net bag onto the ground. She then turned to the crowd with a bright smile. "I’m back!"
Sheng Yanzhou and Ruan Xun immediately stepped forward, standing on either side of Ruan Fuxi as if to check if she was hurt.
"Don't worry, I'm fine," Ruan Fuxi reassured them.
At that moment, Han Feier rushed over, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she looked at the shrimp and crabs in the net. "Wow! You actually caught Boston lobsters and king crabs! Xiaoxi, you're amazing!"
These two items were the hardest to find on the list provided by the production team. She and Yue Hongjie had gone into the sea without even catching a glimpse of a Boston lobster or a king crab, placing all their hopes on Ruan Fuxi. They knew it wouldn’t be easy, but they never expected Ruan Fuxi would actually succeed!
"What would we have done without you?"
Then Han Feier suddenly remembered something and asked curiously, "Xiaoxi, where's your cameraman? I haven't seen him around. Is everything alright?"
Ruan Fuxi glanced into the distance and saw the yacht. She gestured slightly. "He's on the yacht; he'll be back soon."
Unable to resist her curiosity, she added, "What was up with that shark? It listened to you so well! I almost thought it was your pet."
Ruan Fuxi chuckled:
"I've told you, I have a way with animals," she said confidently. "Not only do I get along well with them, but I can also throw a punch."
Han Fei'er looked a bit puzzled. "Really?"
She cupped her face in her hands, her eyes sparkling with envy. "I wish I had that kind of affinity with animals too! It sounds amazing!"
At that moment, in the broadcast room, comments flooded in.
"I envy you too!"
"Haha, Fei'er, don’t believe it! Sister Ruan probably just slapped the shark into submission. Sure, she has a way with animals, but those slaps definitely have a bigger impact."
"I really like Sister Ruan! She's beautiful and capable; I'm her biggest fan!"
Ruan Fuxi turned to the other guests. "How's everyone doing? We should have enough seafood on the list by now."
Sheng Yanzhou chimed in, "We've done a preliminary count, and it looks like we're almost there. With the lobster and king crab you brought back, we definitely meet the seafood requirements on the list. Let's hand these over to the production team for them to tally up."
Ruan Fuxi then glanced at the seafood brought by Yue Hongjie and Han Fei'er—some sea fish and shellfish, along with abalone and sea urchins. She also looked at the catch from the fishing nets, which were now placed in a large water tank.
She was surprised. "There’s so much from the fishing nets!"
Ruan Xun replied, "Yeah, Sister Fuxi. Besides me, Mr. Sheng and Brother Yue helped out onshore, so we managed to catch quite a bit."
As he spoke, he seemed to glance at Meng Zhan casually.
