"You should hurry; your matter is more important right now."
Su Shi quickly walked out, but before leaving, she turned back to Ruan Fuxi and said, "Fuxi, I owe you one this time. Once everything is resolved, I will definitely thank you properly."
Ruan Fuxi smiled. "I've already accepted the divination fee, so no need for further thanks. Besides, you're a friend of Yan Zhou's, which makes us friends too. There's no need to be so formal."
Su Shi nodded and strode out with her long legs.
Once the door to the private room closed, Lin Chu and the others looked at Ruan Fuxi with bright eyes. They had heard that Ruan Fuxi from the Ruan family was a master, but they had never experienced it firsthand until now.
Seeing it with their own eyes left them with only two words in their minds: impressed!
"Fuxi, why don't you do a reading for me too? I'll pay you for it."
"And me! I want one as well!"
"Hey, don’t all rush at once!"
Sheng Yanzhou watched as he was nearly pushed aside and raised an eyebrow. "Do you want me to do a reading for you all?"
Qiao Youchen chuckled and stepped aside a bit. "I just got a little too excited."
Ruan Fuxi met the curious and excited gazes of the group and felt a bit helpless. "You’ve all been doing well lately; there’s really nothing to read about. Save your money; it’s not necessary."
Hearing her say this, Lin Chu and the others felt relieved but also a bit disappointed. "Then next time! We’ll do it next time."
They were simply too curious and wanted to experience it for themselves.
Ruan Fuxi replied, "Hmm? Isn’t it good to be safe and sound? Why would you want to tempt fate by having me predict disasters?"
After finally convincing them not to seek unnecessary readings, Ruan Fuxi's phone vibrated briefly.
She opened the message and saw that Yu Ni Bobo was causing a stir again in their online dating group. It all started a few days ago when the group updated their tasks: friends who were getting to know each other could start meeting their matches for the first date.
Aside from Ruan Fu Xi and Sheng Yan Zhou, it seemed that all the other pairs had completed this task and uploaded photos from their first meetings in the group. Just now, Yu Ni Bobo had shared a photo of her first meeting with Yuan Shan.
In the picture, both of them looked youthful and vibrant, a perfect match in appearance, which prompted compliments from the other members of the group. Yu Ni Bobo felt a surge of pride at the praise; she had put on full makeup for the occasion, spending a long time ensuring that every angle of her looked great. She was also satisfied with Yuan Shan during their date at an upscale restaurant, which thoroughly indulged her vanity.
Yuan Shan was tall and handsome, and he was willing to spend money, so Yu Ni Bobo couldn't help but boast subtly in the group. But instead of just bragging about herself, she specifically tagged Ruan Fu Xi.
“Chao Xi, we all met up! Have you and Zhou gone on a date yet?”
Ruan Fu Xi replied, “What’s it to you?”
Yu Ni Bobo responded, “Why are you being like this? Are you in a bad mood today? I’m just concerned about your progress with Zhou. After all, you’re the beauty of our group, and I love hanging out with beautiful girls!”
If Chao Xi hadn’t met with Zhou yet, it meant one of them must be too shy to meet—either because they were unattractive or because they were broke. But if they had met, she was curious to see what kind of photos Chao Xi would upload to the group; she wondered if they would be as good-looking.
Ruan Fu Xi read this message with raised eyebrows; it seemed Yu Ni Bobo had leveled up in her game. A smile crept onto her face.
“Yes, we met. What’s it to you?”
