Lin Chuo and the others were taken aback, looking at each other.
"Fu Xi, are you talking about Su Shi? What happened to him?"
Su Shi appeared to be a composed and serious person. Even in a social club, he wore a suit and silver-rimmed glasses. Hearing Ruan Fu Xi's words, he paused for a moment, looking over with some confusion.
Just as Ruan Fu Xi was about to say something, Sheng Yanzhou spoke up first.

Su Shi sighed at this. He looked at Ruan Fu Xi and asked, "Fu Xi, how much is your fee for fortune-telling?"
He didn't think there would be any issues with himself, but since Ruan Fu Xi was brought by Yanzhou and she had said so, he felt it was only right to give her some respect. Moreover, Ruan Fu Xi's reputation had been rising lately; he believed she must have some insight worth hearing.
Ruan Fu Xi smiled at Sheng Yanzhou before responding to Su Shi, "The fee is three thousand."
Su Shi was somewhat surprised; he knew the usual prices for fortune-telling, and three thousand was clearly on the higher side. However, he didn't say anything further and promptly transferred the money.
Ruan Fu Xi accepted the payment and looked at him intently. "Your heavenly palace is full, indicating that your career will go smoothly. However, there is a small line running through it that affects your fortune. The area between your eyebrows is sunken, suggesting that your girlfriend's actions will impact your career."
Su Shi felt a twinge of worry. "What could my girlfriend do?"
He hadn't been with his girlfriend for long but had a good impression of her.
Ruan Fu Xi reminded him, "Be careful with any confidential information you have; don't share important details with your girlfriend. By the way, you should investigate her thoroughly; you might uncover something significant."
Upon hearing this, Su Shi's expression turned serious. He understood the gravity of Ruan Fu Xi's words and immediately realized he couldn't afford to delay. He took out his phone and dialed a number, speaking a few urgent sentences.
"Yes, go check it out and get back to me as soon as possible."
The others seemed to have guessed something from the serious expressions on their faces. Su Shi worked in a government department and came from a family with a red background, which allowed him access to some confidential information. His girlfriend had just returned from studying abroad and was working at a broadcasting station.
Su Shi's gaze was sharp, and he gripped his phone tightly. Ruan Fuxi took a sip of her drink, appearing more relaxed than the others.
After a moment, the ringtone echoed in the private room. Su Shi held his phone for a second or two before answering. Whatever was said on the other end made his expression turn grave.
Once he hung up, he let out a breath and looked at Ruan Fuxi with gratitude. "Fuxi, thank you so much this time. If it weren't for your reminder just now, I might have been in serious trouble."
His girlfriend turned out to be a spy! If he hadn't discovered it early, he would have eventually been dragged into an investigation himself.
Miss Ruan was indeed impressive.
Ruan Fuxi smiled slightly. "You're welcome."
Feeling somewhat apologetic, Su Shi stood up. "I need to handle this issue right away. I have to leave today, but let’s get together again next time—I’ll treat you."
He had to report the existence of this spy to his superiors and explain his ignorance about the situation. Sheng Yanzhou nodded in agreement.
