Ruan Fuxi nodded, "Of course."
Ruan Anmu hesitated for a moment before asking, "Then why didn't Big Brother and our parents come? It's just the two of us. Are they too busy? I didn't see them when we left today."
Ruan Fuxi looked around and then smiled, "How do you know they didn't come? Look to your left."
Ruan Anmu followed her gaze and saw three figures bundled up just like the two of them. The shapes were unmistakable; she couldn't believe they weren't Big Brother and their parents.
Ruan Anmu was a bit surprised; she could sense a hint of secrecy in the air.
Ruan Fuxi explained, "Big Brother and our parents initially didn't support Xiaoxun entering the entertainment industry before graduating from college. But Xiaoxun was very determined and even delayed his studies for it, which made our parents a bit upset. Xiaoxun stubbornly didn't invite Big Brother and our parents to his concert."
Ruan Anmu understood and continued, "So they secretly bought tickets to come."
Ruan Fuxi nodded, "Exactly."
The concert was set to start at seven o'clock and would last for two hours. There were still about twenty to thirty minutes left before it began, and most of the audience had already arrived.
The arena was bustling with excitement, filled with the sounds of cheering voices, flashing screens, and fans eagerly waiting for their idol to take the stage.
Meanwhile, backstage.
"Teacher Lu, do you still need to carry this charm?" the makeup artist asked after finishing his makeup and confirming that his outfit was fine. She pointed to the charm on the table. "This outfit is quite cool, and the outer pockets are just for decoration."
Ruan Xun picked up the charm directly and tucked it into the inner pocket of his clothing.
"I'll take it with me," he said. Ruan Fuxi had told him to keep it on him at all times. Even though he wasn't sure if it would help, he thought that if he didn't bring it along, she might be upset.
Ruan Xun couldn't help but recall the moment when the other person tore up his concert ticket. He pressed his lips together, suppressing the complex emotions within him, and stepped onto the stage.
Standing in the center of the stage, the spotlight focused on him. Tonight, he was the brightest star!
Cheers erupted from the fans:
"I love you, Lu Xun!"
"Ahhh, Lu Xun!"
"I'm going to give you a monkey!"
Ruan Xun looked out at the crowd; so many fans had come here for him today. While he felt a surge of excitement, there was also a hint of regret. Perhaps it was because his family wasn’t here to witness his first solo concert with him.
As his gaze swept across the front row, it suddenly paused. Those two people looked somewhat familiar.
Meeting Ruan Xun's eyes, Ruan Fuxi realized she had been recognized. Her eyes sparkled as she nudged Ruan Anmu beside her and flashed him a smile. Then she made a playful gesture.
Seeing her, Ruan Xun wanted to maintain his cool demeanor, but the surprise bubbling inside him betrayed his true feelings, causing the corners of his mouth to lift in an involuntary smile.
Ruan Fuxi gestured for him to look to the left, and there he saw his older brother and parents. It turned out that during such an important moment for him, his family was right there by his side.
Now, Ruan Xun truly smiled.
Fans who noticed his smile became even more excited, their light sticks waving so vigorously that they seemed to blur into motion.
"Lu Xun, we love you!"
