Lin Xue'er spoke coldly: Is it because of you that I was fired by President Ruan?
Ruan Fuxi was surprised: Secretary Lin has been dismissed?
Her tone was as flat as a glass of plain water, and Lin Xue'er felt the mockery in it.
She instinctively sensed that her current predicament was somehow linked to Ruan Fuxi, so she stepped forward and stood in front of her, looking fierce: What exactly is your relationship with President Ruan?
Before Ruan Fuxi could respond, a dark voice came from behind them.

Ruan Huai happened to come downstairs and saw this scene, stepping forward protectively in front of Ruan Fuxi.
Lin Xue'er's expression immediately softened.

Lin Xueer’s face turned pale, her expression a mix of disbelief and sudden realization. She didn’t linger too long, casting a deep glance at Ruan Huai before leaving the company.
At that moment, Ruan Fuxi turned to Ruan Huai and asked, “Brother, did you come to find me?”
Ruan Huai nodded, his expression somewhat peculiar.
This piqued Ruan Fuxi’s curiosity. “What’s going on?”
Ruan Huai stared at her for a moment, as if assessing something, before saying, “Fu Sihan is looking for you.”
He observed Ruan Fuxi’s reaction closely, seemingly trying to gauge whether she still had feelings for Fu Sihan.
Ruan Fuxi responded with an “Oh,” a hint of curiosity in her voice. “What does he want with me?”
“He wants to talk to you. You should accept his request,” Ruan Huai replied.
Ruan Fuxi recalled how she had been overly persistent in pursuing Fu Sihan back then, which led him to delete her contact. It was strange; what could he possibly want from her now?
Feeling puzzled, she took out her phone and accepted his friend request.
