He stepped closer. “I’m Tang Zheng, the procurement manager.”

“Don’t let me keep you from your lunch,” he said with an insincere smile.
Ruan Fuxi studied this procurement manager closely. The droop of his eyes hinted at deep cunning and a knack for scheming. His disheveled lines suggested a chaotic personal life, and his flickering gaze indicated a lack of responsibility towards his work—he was clearly someone who jeopardized company interests, a petty man indeed.
Tang Zheng, the procurement manager, was remembered. He continued to smile.
"It's nothing. You're new here, so feel free to ask me anything you don't understand."
Ruan Fuxi replied, "We're not even in the same department. What is there to ask?"
She then ignored him and headed straight to the cafeteria for lunch.
In the afternoon, Ruan Fuxi did not encounter any suspicious individuals. She left work on time as usual and was picked up by her brother at the company entrance.
Ruan Fuxi looked at the turtle and asked, "Brother, is the turtle behaving well today?"
Ruan Huai's expression seemed a bit strange, but he still said, "Very well."
