"Xiao Xi, is there something bad going to happen to me?"
Ruan Fu Xi looked at her face and slowly replied, "You will encounter disaster soon, and it will be at the hospital."
Ruan Ji Li and Lu Man Yun immediately grew anxious upon hearing this and urged, "Xiao Mu, why don't you avoid the hospital for a few days? It will be fine after that."
Ruan An Mu felt a bit scared at the words, but after thinking for a moment, she asked, "Can you tell me why?"
Ruan Fu Xi sighed, "There will be a medical dispute, and it won't just affect you."
After listening, Ruan An Mu's face showed some fear, but she lowered her head in thought for a moment before firmly saying, "Dad, Mom, I've decided to go tomorrow."
Ruan Ji Li and Lu Man Yun frowned, and Ruan Huai's expression also revealed disapproval.
Ruan An Mu explained, "I know Dad, Mom, and Brother are concerned about me, but now that I know, I want to do my part to prevent this from happening. Especially knowing that others might get hurt or even worse, I can't just turn a blind eye."
She understood how difficult it was to study medicine; no doctor should have to fall victim to such disputes while on duty.
Suddenly remembering something, Ruan An Mu nervously asked, "Xiao Xi, the talisman you gave me will protect me, right? I won’t get into trouble?"
Ruan Fu Xi nodded.
If Ruan An Mu wasn't there, the medical dispute tomorrow could lead to bloodshed. But with Ruan An Mu present and the protection of the talisman she provided, the dispute would not result in severe consequences.
Ruan Fu Xi left the choice to Ruan An Mu. She knew that the female protagonist of the novel was kind-hearted and resilient; she would handle it well.
Without much hesitation, Ruan An Mu made her decision.
Hearing Ruan Fu Xi's words brought a smile to Ruan An Mu's face.
"Dad, Mom, Brother, you all heard that Xiao Xi said I won’t be in any danger."
They had no choice but to trust the talisman, and thus felt a sense of relief. When Ruan Fuxi entered her room and took out her phone, she heard a knock on the door.
"Xiao Xi, are you resting?"
"Not yet," she replied, opening the door.
"Dad, is there something you need from me?"
Ruan Jili held his phone, a proud smile on his face, though he was worried about disturbing his daughter's rest.
"It's just Old Xu. He insisted that you help him. Xiao Xi, are you about to sleep? We can talk about this later."
Thinking back to the phone call where Xu Zhengguo praised Xiao Xi endlessly, claiming she had remarkable foresight and real talent, and mentioned that he had two wonderful daughters that made others envious, Ruan Jili couldn't help but feel a swell of pride.
When others praised him, he took it as mere business flattery, but when they praised his daughter, it felt like a testament to their discernment. Hearing Xu Zhengguo's compliments about Xiao Xi made Ruan Jili eager to see her.
"Old Xu said when he rushed back to check the family grave, he found it had partially collapsed. He’s worried that his father isn’t resting well down there and insisted on asking you for reassurance. He couldn’t reach you, so he came to me."
Ruan Fuxi chuckled softly; so that was the matter at hand.
"Dad, tell him to have someone repair the collapsed grave without disturbing the original soil too much. They should plant a tall tree where it collapsed and place a stone statue of a dragon turtle in front of the grave to stabilize the feng shui."
As Ruan Jili noted this down, Ruan Fuxi added, "Most importantly..."
He thought she was going to mention another step to consider when she continued, "Don’t forget to give me the money. Dad, tell him it’s one hundred fifty thousand."
