Liu Fan and the others felt a surge of security as they listened to Ruan Fuxi's commanding words. However, they couldn't shake the feeling that the temperature around them had suddenly dropped a few degrees, making it a bit chilly.
At that moment, Ruan Fuxi was listening to the lamentations of the wandering soul: "Master, my life has been hard! My days in the underworld are no better. I lent all my money to Liu Chengye, and when my wife came to collect my body after I died, she found I had not a penny to my name. After hastily burying me, she remarried someone else. For all these years, no one has burned paper money for me. I have nothing in the afterlife; it’s truly miserable!"

Ruan Fuxi thought to herself that going so many years without receiving paper money was indeed quite tragic. "So what do you want?" she asked.
"Since you are helping him, Master, I can give you face and let him off this time, but I have one condition: you must inform Liu Chengye of this."

Liu Fan and Liu Chengye stood by, unsure of what Ruan Fuxi was discussing with the spirit. They dared not approach or interrupt.
Ruan Fuxi then turned to Liu Chengye and said, "He can let you go from now on, but there’s a condition: every year you must burn paper money for him until twenty years have passed. Can you do that?"

With that, both parties reached an agreement.
Then they watched as Ruan Fuxi muttered some incantations. When she stopped, the temperature returned to normal, and the child stopped crying.
"Alright, he has been sent off. Your grandson should get some sun in the mornings. If possible, find a clean piece of jade for him to wear," she advised.
Liu Chengye was amazed by Ruan Fuxi's abilities and immediately stepped forward to express his gratitude. "Miss Ruan, I can't thank you enough! If it weren't for your help, I wouldn't know what to do. If my little rascal has offended you in any way in the past, please forgive him."
Liu Fan thought to himself: How could he dare offend such an ancestor?
Ruan Fuxi smiled lightly. "No need for thanks; just transfer two hundred thousand to my account. If anything like this happens again in the future, feel free to contact me."
After all, she planned to rely on this work for her livelihood moving forward.
Liu Chengye chuckled twice. He hoped he would never encounter such a situation again.

The next morning, Ruan Fuxi deliberately waited until her older brother left before changing into her interview outfit and heading out.
