Fu Sihan did not want to disturb Sheng Yanzhou's rest, so he did not stay in the hospital room for long. After confirming that his uncle was only uncomfortable with his leg and had no other issues, they chatted briefly before he left.
Sheng Yanzhou watched Fu Sihan's departing figure, a hint of satisfaction flashing in his eyes. Sihan was becoming more familiar with him.
Looking down at his own legs, Sheng Yanzhou's expression was indifferent. Only the old man knew that besides his legs, he had very few years left to live. Lu Manyun then suggested, "How about interning at our own company? It can be like a fun outing."

She wanted to check out the company's feng shui as well.
Lu Manyun indulgently replied, "Do whatever you want; our little Xi is now a director."
Then, Ruan Anmu looked at her and asked, "Xiao Mu, do you want to go to the company?"
Ruan Anmu had little interest in the company's affairs; she was studying medicine and was more eager to gain experience in that field.
Lu Manyun thought for a moment and said, "Let your dad contact a few hospitals for you. When the time comes, you can choose which one you want to go to for an internship. How does that sound?"
Hearing this, Ruan Anmu smiled happily. "Thank you, Mom."
However, Lu Manyun felt a bit uneasy and reminded her, "Hospitals are different from our own company. While people will take care of you, there will still be too many unfamiliar faces coming and going. You must pay attention to your safety, understand?"
Ruan Anmu chuckled and waved her hand dismissively. "Don't worry, Mom. I'll be careful."
At that moment, Ruan Fuxi was already preparing her internship resume since their company was recently looking for interns. She submitted her resume without delay.
Not long after submitting it, Ruan Fuxi received an interview invitation.
Seeing how serious she was, Lu Manyun and Ruan Anmu decided to help her pick out an outfit for the interview.
"Xiao Xi, it's really hard to choose a set of clothes for you," Ruan Anmu said with a hint of frustration as she watched Ruan Fuxi try on yet another outfit.
"It's not that I'm not looking; it's just that Ruan Fuxi is like a clothes hanger—everything looks good on her! It's truly difficult to pick just one that stands out!"
After trying on several outfits and getting tired of it, Ruan Fuxi casually pointed to one. "How about this one? I'm really exhausted."
Just as they headed downstairs to the living room, Ruan Jili returned home. He was on the phone.
"No need; cancel the appointment."
