In the novel, Ruan Xun was framed and drugged due to the company's arrangements while helping his junior sister sign a contract. He was accused of assaulting a sixteen-year-old girl and ended up in prison, going from a shining star to a fallen one, unable to step onto the stage again.

Initially, the family wasn't very supportive of their younger brother pursuing music, yet he had gone ahead and signed with a company on his own. Unfortunately, although this company was large in scale, its reputation was poor, and the Ruan family's business wasn't in the entertainment industry.
Now that he wanted to terminate the contract, it probably wouldn't be easy. However, Ruan Huai remembered that President Sheng of Chuangsheng Group had interests in the entertainment sector. It seemed he should arrange a meal with President Sheng soon.
Ruan Fuxi felt relieved knowing that she had provided some reassurance to the Ruan family members and had advised them on how to avoid their respective calamities based on the novel's plot. Her previously anxious heart finally found some peace.
