Guo Xue stretched out her hand and shyly tapped Lin Fan on the shoulder, saying, "No, I can't say that."
Lin Fan smiled wryly and replied, "Just wait."
He adjusted his computer, removing all the unnecessary antivirus software. After checking the system and making a few updates, Lin Fan turned to Guo Xue with a smile and said, "All done."
Guo Xue glanced at him and asked, "Is it really that quick?"
"Yep," Lin Fan replied as he moved aside. "Take a look at your files!"
"Ah!" Guo Xue exclaimed, immediately opening her document. She laughed and said, "It's not gone!"
Lin Fan chuckled, "It has an auto-save feature."
"Right," Guo Xue said, her pretty face lighting up with a genuine smile.
Lin Fan reached out and patted her head gently, saying, "Auntie, as someone who doesn't understand computers, you shouldn't download things you don't need. Got it?"
"Yes, I got it," Guo Xue replied obediently.
Lin Fan was momentarily taken aback, thinking to himself, "Auntie looks so tempting like this!"
He quickly shifted his gaze and returned to his chair to continue reading the manual. By the time evening arrived, Lin Fan had finally finished.
Guo Xue stood up and stretched lazily, saying, "Work's over."
"Is it really that quick?"
Lin Fan also stood up and said, "Let's go!"
Thus, the two of them walked side by side towards the exit. They arrived at the garage.
Guo Xue took out the keys, pressed a button, and said, "Get in the car."
After Lin Fan got in, Guo Xue followed suit, stepping on the gas as they drove out. She glanced at Lin Fan and asked, "What do you want to eat?"
Lin Fan smiled and replied, "I'll follow Auntie's lead."
"Okay."
Guo Xue drove towards a Western restaurant. After a while, they arrived inside the restaurant.
Guo Xue sat down and called to the waiter, saying, "Take our order."
Before long, she had finished ordering. Her gaze turned to Lin Fan as she asked, "Do you need anything else?"
Lin Fan smiled and said, "That's enough. Just these will do!"
After the waiter left, Guo Xue rested her chin on her hand, her beautiful eyes lingering on Lin Fan.
Feeling a bit awkward under her gaze, Lin Fan asked, "Auntie, what's wrong?"
Guo Xue whispered, "Nothing, nothing."
Her charming face couldn't help but blush again. There was no denying it—Lin Fan's looks were becoming more and more handsome with each passing moment.
She had no way to resist at all.
At first, Guo Xue thought she wasn't the type to be infatuated. It was only when she saw Lin Fan that she realized how wrong she was—she was utterly mistaken. She was just a shallow girl in love.
Seeing Lin Fan playing with his phone, her gaze instinctively drifted back to him.
Lin Fan caught a glimpse of Guo Xue and immediately, she panicked and looked away.
Lin Fan thought to himself: Is this just an illusion? It must be! How could Aunt Guo keep looking at me?
With that, he turned his attention back to his phone, sending a message to Yu Er: "Aunt Yu Er, I won’t be going out for dinner today."
"Okay, got it," Yu Er replied, lying on the bed and kicking her little feet in delight. At that moment, she felt like a little pampered wife, filled with happiness.
She whispered to herself, "It seems like this is quite nice after all!"
In the restaurant, after the steak, drinks, and desserts were served, Lin Fan began to savor his meal.
