Revenge stood beside Si's body, breathing heavily, with a determined and ruthless look in his eyes. He didn't have time to hesitate; he had to take the seriously injured Hai away now.
He walked over to Hai's side. Her face was pale, her breathing weak, clearly seriously injured. Revenge carefully lifted her, trying to avoid touching her wounds. He knew vampires had self-healing abilities, but Hai's injuries were too severe; she needed to be treated as soon as possible.
Revenge held onto Hai and quickly left the White Coats Gang headquarters. He drove a off-road vehicle and rushed back to his castle at the fastest speed. Along the way, Hai occasionally moaned in pain in his arms, and Revenge's heart was filled with complex emotions. He felt both pity for Hai and guarded against her as a former enemy, but more so, he was firm in his belief in his plan.
Upon returning to the castle, Revenge immediately took Hai to a secret room. This was a place he specifically used to handle emergencies, equipped with various medical equipment and medications. He gently placed Hai on a bed and began to examine her injuries.
The sight of Hai's wounds was shocking, especially the deep cuts on her chest and abdomen. Revenge knew that although Hai had strong self-healing abilities, this level of injury might take a long time to recover from. He quickly prepared some medication and began to treat her wounds.
Revenge carefully cleaned Hai's wounds and then used medication to stop the bleeding and reduce inflammation. His technique was skillful, indicating that he had received specialized training. During the process, he couldn't help but think of his own family, who had been cruelly killed by the White Coats Gang. The unforgettable pain strengthened his determination for revenge against the enemy.
During the process of treating Hai's wound, Revenge noticed that her breathing gradually became steady, but she remained unconscious. She looked at Revenge, with a hint of complex emotions in her eyes.
"I want to know the truth," Revenge suddenly spoke, his voice low and firm, "the truth about my family's massacre."
There was a hint of pain and guilt in Hai's eyes as she spoke softly, "The White Coats Gang believed that your family posed a threat to their position, so they ordered the elimination. Ken and I were just the executors, the real planner was the tyrant."
Revenge's eyes flashed with a cold light, and he said coldly, "tyrant, I will remember this name. You owe me a chance for redemption. From now on, you are my spy."
Hai nodded slightly, her heart filled with complex emotions. She knew she had no choice but to follow Revenge in order to have a chance at redemption.
Revenge nodded, a cold light flashing in his eyes: "Very well, I need you to arrange a meeting with Old K. I have a plan that involves entering the news industry."
There was a hint of doubt in Hai's eyes, but she quickly nodded and promised, "I will arrange it."
Revenge looked at her in silence for a moment, then suddenly asked, "Hai, I know about these things because I saw the whole process while in a coma. Do you know what this means?"
A hint of surprise and confusion flashed in Hai's eyes. "Saw the whole process while in a coma? That sounds like the precognitive ability of a high-level vampire. High-level vampires can sense things happening far away, especially when there is danger."
Her gaze was fixed on Revenge as she continued to ask, "Revenge, are you human or a vampire?"
A complex emotion flashed in Revenge's eyes, but he quickly regained his composure and calmly replied, "I am just a regular human seeking revenge."
