"Hey, Shazhu, that's not right. Sister Qin is your sister, not mine. Why should I give my family's meat to her? This meat is for my wife!" Wang Jiefang replied while making faces at Shazhu. Though Shazhu didn't understand Wang Jiefang's words, Xu Damao in the crowd did!
"Hey! Shazhu, what Wang Jiefang said is true. Sister Qin isn't his wife; why should he give her meat? Since you're so eager for her attention, why don't you get some meat for her yourself? No wonder you haven't won her over yet; it turns out you're reluctant to share your meat with her!"
Hearing Xu Damao's words, Shazhu shouted back, "Xu Damao, what nonsense are you talking? Be careful or I'll hit you!" Then he anxiously turned to Qin Huairu and quickly explained, "Sister Qin, listen to me. I’m not after your body; really!"
But this explanation only made Qin Huairu's face look worse. "You idiot Shazhu! If you hadn’t explained at all, it would’ve been fine. But now everyone can see you're after me!"
Not bothering to ask Wang Jiefang for meat anymore, she glared at Shazhu with her bowl and turned to leave.
Seeing Sister Qin glare at him and walk away made Shazhu even more anxious. He hurriedly followed her with his cane. "Sister Qin! Let me explain; I really don’t want anything from you!"
The more Shazhu tried to explain, the faster Qin Huairu ran!
