Wang Jiefang's grandmother stepped forward to block him, glaring at the deaf old lady. "You old fool, do you think this is being ruthless? If that silly Zhu didn’t kick my dear grandson in the groin, why would he deserve it?"

Wang Jiefang's grandmother scoffed at both silly Zhu and the deaf old lady.
"Yes! I was kicked by silly Zhu and lay on the bed for two days, but Uncle said it was just a bit of roughhousing among the young and told us not to take it too seriously for the sake of harmony in the courtyard!"
"Exactly! That’s what Uncle said to us too!"
Hearing the voices rising from the crowd, the deaf old lady suddenly realized how many people silly Zhu had bullied in their courtyard!
She glared fiercely at the crowd. "Shut up! What’s wrong with getting beaten? You all just let it happen! With me around, who dares to speak up?"
Under her long-standing intimidation, these people really didn’t dare to say anything!

Wang Jiefang's grandmother looked at the furious deaf old lady and continued to mock her: "Oh, back when silly Zhu was beating people, you all insisted that it was a matter for the courtyard to resolve on its own and stopped us from calling the police for the sake of unity. Now that silly Zhu has been beaten, you’re shouting about calling the police? So silly Zhu is precious now?"
Her words stirred up another wave of commotion among the crowd!
Previously, Wang Jiefang's grandmother had kept a low profile in her courtyard while allowing the deaf old lady’s family to dominate. This had led to no one daring to provoke her or challenge her authority!
Now faced with a verbal onslaught from Wang Jiefang's grandmother, she found herself struggling to respond.
