Jia Zhangshi recognized the situation and didn’t dare to cause any more trouble; she obediently followed along.
As Yi Zhonghai left, he cast a subtle glance at Wang Jiefang and his grandmother.
Liu Haizhong and Yan Bugui returned home with their heads hanging low.
Wang Ren approached Wang Jiefang with a warm smile, "Jiefang, if anyone bullies you in the future, just come find Aunt Wang. I'll take care of it!"

Wang Ren then turned to Wang Jiefang's grandmother, "Auntie, at your age, if anything happens in the future, just come find me. But please don't take matters into your own hands again; if something happens to you, I won't know how to explain it to the leaders above!"
Wang Jiefang's grandmother replied with a chuckle, "Oh dear, my health may not be what it used to be, but if anyone dares to bully my grandson, I'll fight tooth and nail for him!"
Wang Ren sighed at the old lady's words. "Auntie, we have the street office for that; you don’t need to put yourself in danger!"
"By the way, Jiefang, remember to go for the tasting tomorrow. I have some matters at the street office to attend to and will leave first."
When Yi Zhonghai got home, he sat down on a chair with a gloomy expression while smoking heavily.
"Old Yi, don’t be angry; being upset isn’t good for your health!"
Yi Zhonghai exhaled a puff of smoke and said, "That Jia Zhangshi is truly a disaster waiting to happen. Normally she causes trouble in our courtyard; that’s one thing.
