"I suspect that Luo Qingyang only revealed part of the secret method that seemed relatively harmless while hiding away the crucial parts. Over these years, we have reflected deeply and sincerely repented; we have not used those secret techniques again nor caused any harm to the cultivation world.
Can the two sect leaders consider our efforts at reform and keep this matter hidden? Please allow our Beast Sect to save a shred of dignity. If not, I truly do not know how to explain this to the seniors of our sect!"

Had he known it would come to this, he should have firmly stopped those elders when they clamored to threaten that young man for secret techniques.
In the end, Li Jinyuan and Song Maoyan left the Beast Sect.
Song Maoyan frowned slightly and asked, "Sect Leader Li, how much of what he said do you think is true or false?"
Li Jinyuan shook his head. "I believe he spoke with genuine emotion; it doesn’t seem like a lie. However, this matter is too significant and without any other evidence to support him, we cannot fully trust him."
Song Maoyan nodded in agreement. "You are right; I think similarly."
Li Jinyuan stared into the distance while counting on his fingers when suddenly his brow furrowed. Despite this major issue finally reaching a conclusion, an increasing sense of unease settled in his heart as if some calamity was about to occur. Could it be that something had happened to my precious disciple?
Song Maoyan couldn't help but smile. "Your disciple is truly a prodigy; even against a Nascent Soul, she could hold her own for a few rounds. It's not so easy for her to get into trouble."
However, despite his words, Song Maoyan casually cast a divination for his precious disciple. The result was not promising; it was an ominous hexagram.
The two exchanged glances, both shocked by what they saw in each other's eyes. They knew that during this outing, Ji Wushang and Xue Tinghe had gone together. Now that both of them had drawn bad omens, it indicated that something truly unfortunate had occurred.
They hurried back with urgency.
On Floating Island, Xie Hong appeared disheveled, his clothes torn in several places, blood seeping through the fabric. He coldly advanced towards them with his sword drawn.
"I initially wanted to grant you a swift death, but since you insist on clinging on like this, if I don't make you suffer a bit, my resentment will never dissipate!"
Xue Tinghe's legs weakened as she forced herself to stand, slowly retreating while holding her sword. However, she stumbled over a corpse and nearly fell to the ground.
She managed to steady herself and spat defiantly, "Hmph! You want to kill me and expect me to thank you? If you want to kill me, just do it! Why all this unnecessary chatter?"
Xie Hong sneered in anger. "How amusing! If I don't kill you, then I must be incompetent!"
Just as he was about to strike, a chubby hand blocked his path.
"Hey, Brother Xie, why be so angry? I see this girl has decent cultivation; why not hand her over to me? She could nourish my precious gourd."
Upon hearing this, Xue Tinghe felt a chill run down her spine. She had witnessed several people being sucked into that cursed gourd and heard their screams from within. She would rather die than be taken to that dreadful place!
