The azure cloud swirl pattern adorned the long drapes, intricately embroidered with dragons and phoenixes in flight. The double dragon playfully grasping a pearl was carved into the red lacquered clothing rack, while a delicate incense burner, painted in light blue, emitted the fragrance of rare ice incense. Luoqing rested her chin on her hands, gazing at the curling smoke as it drifted into her memories.
Her affection for Prince Xue could be traced back two years. At that time, she was the naive second young lady of the Shen Family, often visiting Leng Yan Tower to listen to stories and watch performances.
