Due to the power grab by Guan Xiangfei and others, the new examination at the First Middle School quickly came to an end without Lin Yao's guidance. The results were somewhat disappointing, and the performance was hard to describe. Tang Mingde did not linger, his face stern as he led everyone away.
Before leaving, Wang Sanquan cheerfully invited the Mingguang Team to join him for an expedition after the final exams, promising to take them to the resource planet for winter hunting. The seven members of the Mingguang Team packed their bags and returned to the base of the Expeditionary Forces, accompanied by their teachers, Xie Zhuo and Chen Yiming. Before they set off, Wang Sanquan gave them a speech.
"You are all just beginners in a mid-level school. My expectations for you are not high; there is only one requirement: you must obey orders. The resource planets we visit are far more dangerous than those in your practical exams. Remember to follow commands."
Though his words were harsh, apart from Wang Jincheng, everyone in the Mingguang Team understood their own capabilities well. However, with Xie Zhuo and Chen Yiming leading them, they were not overly concerned about any potential chaos.
The resource planets for the Expeditionary Forces were located far from inhabited planets due to their higher danger levels. The dedicated resource planet for the Expeditionary Forces was half a month's journey away from Yunmeng Star. However, the expeditionary ships had been specially designed for speed and could travel much faster than regular starships, making the journey last about ten days.
The voyage was dull; Xie Zhuo and Chen Yiming kept them busy with training every day until they could barely move. If it weren't for the average physical skill level of the expeditionary soldiers being above level five—far exceeding that of these beginners at levels three or four—they might have been forced to spar with those soldiers.
Of course, Zhang Feng's level five physical skills and Lin Yao's extraordinary combat abilities could still hold their own against those soldiers. However, those soldiers did not regard their strength highly and were unwilling to spar with them.

After being trained like dead dogs on board for days, Wang Jincheng raised both hands and shouted to the sky, "I’m finally alive!"
Xie Zhuo couldn't stand his arrogant demeanor any longer. He forcefully squeezed his shoulder and said, "Who do you think you're messing with here?"
Wang Jincheng let out a yelp from the painful grip and quickly covered his shoulder, retreating behind Lin Yao. "Teacher, you're being too rough!"
"If I don't toughen up a bit, will you ever learn?" In Xie Zhuo's eyes, among the seven members of the Mingguang Team, Wang Jincheng was the hardest to discipline.
"Teacher Chen Yiming and I have both reached Level Seven in physical training; we're not far from advancing. We're going to find our way to improvement this time, so we won't be going with you," he added.
Wang Jincheng's face lit up at this news. "Then it's more important to improve! You focus on your own work, Teacher."
Xie Zhuo ignored Wang Jincheng's playful grin and turned seriously to Lin Yao. "I have always been confident in your combat abilities. However, this resource planet is quite dangerous, and you’re bringing along six who might hold you back. I've arranged for you to follow the logistics team. Just keep them in check—talk less, fuss less—and make sure you come back alive."
Lin Yao nodded earnestly. "Don't worry, Teacher. I will keep them in line."
With that, Xie Zhuo and Chen Yiming joined the exploration team, while Lin Yao led the Mingguang Team to obediently follow the logistics team as they cleaned up the battlefield and set up camp.
Zhang Feng was called by the cooking team of the logistics group due to his exceptional culinary skills and ability to prepare energy food, so Lin Yao took the opportunity to send Wan Xiaoqi along with him.
Meng Xingchen and Zhenzhen had been trained by Lin Yao on how to dismantle materials; one specialized in machinery while the other focused on potions. Lin Yao decided to assign them to the materials decomposition group.
With this arrangement, only Wang Jincheng, who was solely interested in fighting, and Yao Beiluo, who was better at management, remained by Lin Yao's side.
Lin Yao asked Yao Beiluo, "Do you want to go learn some management from the logistics team?"
Yao Beiluo declined. "I've been learning logistics management in the military since I was young; I don't need a break for that."
As for Wang Jincheng, Lin Yao couldn't let him wander off alone, so she took both of them along to help with cleaning duties for the logistics team.
The combat team ahead had killed a beast occupying a certain area; there might be some valuable exotic plants and rare materials left behind.
This task was quite tedious and required careful attention, which Wang Jincheng naturally found tiresome.

Lin Yao quickly gathered her medicinal plants and called out to Yao Beiluo to follow Wang Jincheng as he dashed away. "Let’s go see what's happening!"
The beast was a unique species found on this planet, resembling a rat but with a large bushy tail like a squirrel. Its combat power was low, but its reproductive capabilities were incredibly strong.
Moreover, unlike other star beasts that possessed specific racial traits—except for a few occasional mutations—this species did not have any racial characteristics at all. Each beast awakened different abilities that were unique to itself.
However, most of them were known as Beastwalkers due to their ability to move swiftly. The Beastwalkers were incredibly fast, darting out from the soldiers' encirclement in the blink of an eye, heading straight for Wang Jincheng.
Wang Jincheng was not to be underestimated either; as the Beastwalker approached him, he unleashed a subtle bolt of lightning energy directly at it.
