Matrices were something from an alien system; the Yunmeng Galaxy didn't have them, nor did it possess any related professional knowledge.
Lin Yao briefly explained what she was currently researching. "I was thinking, if we could attach the energy matrix to clothing, would it be possible to create garments with various functions?"
Academician Zheng nodded in agreement. "If that's the case, attaching an energy matrix could create energy suits. And if we attached a defense matrix, we could make defensive suits, right?"
Uh-oh, that was a big misunderstanding. She had thought that "energy matrix" was a suffix, as in energy matrix. By adding prefixes like attack, defense, or concealment, it would become attack energy matrix, defense energy matrix, or concealment energy matrix.
However, Academician Zheng clarified that "matrix" itself was the suffix; it was simply a matrix. Due to this misunderstanding, Lin Yao specifically asked Academician Zheng for detailed information about the matrix system.
"I learned about matrices from the Como Galaxy, but I only scratched the surface," he explained. "The matrix system in Como is quite advanced. For instance, the energy matrices I've previously arranged include various types like dispersing, gathering, and stabilizing."
In addition to energy matrices, there are also some basic functional ones. For example: defense matrices, attack matrices, growth-promoting matrices for plants, and concealment matrices for hiding. They are rich and diverse and can be applied in various fields such as civilian life and military use.

It was understandable, considering that when Academician Zheng studied in the Como Star System, everyone was wary of him. The only technology he could access was the discarded low-end technology. No one would allow him to engage with complex, profound, and widely applicable subjects like matrices, let alone teach him.
Unlike her, he had an auxiliary system to rely on. The only thing he could depend on was his own mind, memorizing everything he could access, and once he returned, he would study it in detail. He taught Lin Yao everything he had memorized and shared his years of research insights with her.

During the study of matrices, the midterm exams arrived as scheduled. Due to the beast tide encountered during military training competitions, students were somewhat traumatized by the experience.
