I am a Mecha Master!
When Su Rui rushed over to check on Lin Yao, she was drenched in sweat, with blood at the corner of her mouth, her face pale, and her capillaries engorged, looking as if she might burst at any moment.
"Lin Yao, why are you pushing yourself so hard? Aren't you afraid of damaging your body?" Su Rui complained as she prepared a potion for her.

Lin Yao forced a bitter smile. "I'm broke. You might as well ask the Yunmeng authorities if they can compensate you. Also, I’ve claimed this mecha as mine now; let’s see if they can reimburse you for that too!"
Su Rui was momentarily stunned and fell silent for a long time.
Thinking he was upset, Lin Yao quickly added, "Su Rui, I was just joking! I’ll definitely sell everything I have to pay you back."
After a while, Su Rui finally spoke. "I don't need you to pay me back in money; just help me with an experiment."

Su Rui understood this reasoning as well; it had to be destroyed. However, it couldn't rely solely on their efforts. "That alien buyer should have a starship. I’ll convince him to lend us some support!"
With that said, he immediately got up and headed toward the base.

Seeing a mech knocked down by a star beast, Lin Yao quickly activated her mech and rushed forward to fight.
"Connect me with the other mechs and establish a temporary channel," she commanded. "I am a mech operator."
True to its reputation, the advanced biological mech developed by Su Rui boasted superior hardware configuration, performance, and system intelligence compared to the other mechs on the battlefield. With its presence, the temporary channel was established swiftly.
"This is a temporary channel for battling the star beasts. I am a mech operator and hope everyone can cooperate in the attack," Lin Yao spoke first.
Upon hearing her youthful voice, some were immediately displeased. "Who do you think you are? Why should I listen to you?"
"If you cooperate as bait later, I might consider listening to you," came the retort.
As soon as those words were spoken, others in the channel who had been preparing to speak fell silent.
"Since no one has objections, let me share my plan," Lin Yao continued. She outlined her strategy in the combat channel and concluded, "That's how it is. Does anyone have any questions?"
Having taken on the most dangerous tasks herself, no one dared to voice any objections; they all responded affirmatively.
However, one person couldn't help but ask curiously, "Little girl, we were enemies before. Aren't you afraid of us betraying you by putting your safety aside and doing something so dangerous?"
At this moment, the star beasts were the common enemy for everyone. In the face of such a formidable foe, anyone who would betray their teammates would be unworthy of being called human!
Once that was said, Lin Yao issued an attack command without hesitation. She took the lead and fired armor-piercing rounds at the star beast's eyes to draw its attention.
After firing several energy blasts to gather enough aggro, she activated the flight function and soared into the sky.
The star beast followed her into the air.
At this moment, Lin Yao was actually in grave danger. If the star beast opened its massive mouth and took a deep breath, the immense suction combined with her mech's propulsion would soon overwhelm her body.
In this perilous situation, Lin Yao remained calm and issued commands. "Three seconds left! Everyone prepare for armor-piercing attacks!"
As the countdown reached its final moments, Lin Yao suddenly reversed her mech, shutting off its flight mode and allowing it to plummet freely. Simultaneously, she unleashed a barrage of five energy blasts at the star beast, each shot aimed at the same spot. The gravitational pull of the planet combined with the propulsion of the projectiles caused the latter shots to catch up with the former, resulting in a series of explosions that would culminate in a simultaneous detonation as they neared the beast.
After firing the five shots, Lin Yao activated her mech's protective shield and instantly engaged the side air cannons, firing three shots in rapid succession to propel herself away from the landing zone. This sequence of maneuvers was fluid and seamless, showcasing textbook-level mech operation that nearly left the five other mech pilots below in awe.
While they were still processing their mission, Lin Yao issued an attack command. Each pilot targeted the damaged area on the star beast's neck and fired an armor-piercing round. The star beast let out a piercing roar. Despite being an exceptionally well-armored creature, it was unable to withstand this coordinated assault.
As the smoke cleared, everyone could see that the wound on the beast's neck had widened, blood pouring down as chunks of its back armor were blown away. However, this level of damage was far from lethal for such a massive creature. In pain and fury, the star beast opened its jaws wide and began unleashing a torrential rain of massive boulders upon the ground.
The area where the mechs were stationed trembled like an earthquake, cracking, collapsing, and sinking as if signaling the end of the world. Caught in this dual assault, Lin Yao—already drained from her fall—and the other mech pilots faced constant danger as they dodged and weaved through the falling debris.
