Li Xuexin was truly understanding. Upon seeing Chen Anlin's suddenly grim expression, the Master Spirit felt a stir in his heart, realizing that perhaps his words had reminded Chen Anlin of the moment when the Empress had oppressed him.
"Don't worry," he continued. "Although the Empress is powerful, I have already discovered her weakness."
"You know her weakness? Then tell me, what is it?" Chen Anlin asked with interest.

"But she's the Empress. Capturing her might be a bit excessive, don't you think?" Chen Anlin replied.
The Master Spirit smiled, thinking to himself that this young man was indeed young; he couldn't resist the allure of a beautiful woman. With a light chuckle, he said, "I am well-versed in various poisons. Once we capture her, I can turn her into a willing servant. At that point, you can do as you please."
At this point, he felt that Chen Anlin was on his side. However, Chen Anlin's expression grew increasingly grim.
"You just saw me treat Li Xuexin, right? Do you know what my medical skills are?" Chen Anlin suddenly asked.
"What are they?"
"The Art of Medical Classics!"
"What?? How is that possible? The Art of Medical Classics is currently with the Empress! How could you have learned it?"

Once everyone was ushered out, only Li Xuexin and Chen Anlin remained in the room. Chen Anlin took out various medicinal materials from a wooden box and prepared the alchemical furnace to begin his work.
Precious herbs were thrown into the alchemy furnace. As Chen Anlin diligently refined the medicine, Li Xuexin lay on the bed, surprised to see this man she once despised now trying to save her.
The detoxification potion was not difficult to concoct. In just half an hour, Chen Anlin had nearly completed it.
"Oh, you're awake?" he said, turning to find Li Xuexin staring at him intently.
"Thank you for working so hard to make the medicine," she replied.
"Don't rush to thank me; I still want you to serve me. If you die, how can you serve me? Right?" Chen Anlin's words made Li Xuexin's eyes widen as memories of last night's wild events flooded back.
She never expected that someone who seemed so innocent could behave that way. "I won't serve you," she huffed, her tone defiant.
"Are you not afraid I won't treat you anymore?" he challenged.
"You..." Li Xuexin thought for a moment and decided to remain silent; after all, she was a normal person and still feared death.
"Come on, open your mouth," he urged.
"Open my mouth for what?" Li Xuexin tensed up, glancing nervously at Chen Anlin's robe and swallowing hard.
"Of course, it's to take your medicine. What else did you think? Dream on if you think I'm giving you anything else," he teased.
Li Xuexin was almost amused by his audacity; how could there be such shameless people in the world?
After taking the medicine, a warm sensation enveloped her entire body. Before long, the weakness she had felt began to fade away. Now, she felt invigorated and full of energy.
She had initially thought that with such a beautiful woman sleeping beside him, Chen Anlin would surely be restless. However, when she turned to look, she found him already fast asleep, breathing evenly.
At that moment, her heart was filled with mixed emotions. Chen Anlin had saved her once again. Instead of thinking about leaving this place, she too succumbed to sleep.
However, early in the morning, she regretted it.
In a daze, she felt her two precious assets being unceremoniously bullied.
"Chen Anlin, you—"
Li Xuexin suddenly felt weak all over.
It wasn't until noon that the two of them finally grew tired.
When they came out, many people in the Li residence cast knowing glances at Li Xuexin, causing her to blush furiously.

Chen Anlin thought to himself: Well, I underestimated Li Xuexin's boldness; she actually had the nerve to say that.
"Do you know? The main thing is that I have a fiancé." Finally, Li Xuexin revealed the truth.
"Oh? Is that so?"
"I think I mentioned it to you before?"
"Yeah, I think so, but what does that matter? Don’t worry; I won’t mind." Chen Anlin replied nonchalantly.
"What do you mean you won’t mind? What if my fiancé finds out? What then?"
"Then we’ll just keep it a secret; don’t you think that’s more exciting?" Chen Anlin grinned mischievously.
"It is indeed quite thrilling... but that's not what I meant! I don’t want that!" Li Xuexin quickly shook her head in explanation.
"Hahaha, alright, Li Xuexin, I understand your thoughts." Chen Anlin shrugged and added, "Besides, as long as your fiancé doesn’t find out, isn’t that fine?"
"But I'm a pure girl; I wouldn’t do that! I want to break off the engagement!"
"Break off the engagement?" Chen Anlin's ears perked up as if he had triggered something significant.
