Two people of similar age to Li Xiang were disciples of the Wan Jian Mountain Manor.
"Li Xiang, we've been looking for you! Hurry up and get ready; the master wants us to go to the training ground," said a female disciple.
"What are we going there for?"

The female disciple spoke with a hint of envy.

"Sister, I went to your place this morning and saw your door tightly shut. Where did you go?"
Li Xiang's tone was somewhat off, as if something he cherished had been taken away from him.
Li Xuexin felt a stir in her heart; she had spent the night at Chen Anlin's place and hadn’t returned home. Originally, Chen Anlin had said she could come over to get some medicine, but after some back and forth, she had reluctantly agreed. She had protested at first, and Chen Anlin had assured her it was just to take a look. Little did she expect that while she wasn't paying attention...
Well, it had happened a few times already, so what was one more time? She comforted herself. Whatever happened, it was something only she knew; even her own brother had to remain in the dark about it.
"Cough, cough. Chen Zi is a guest. I was worried he wouldn’t be comfortable here, so I went over early this morning to chat with him," Li Xuexin explained.
"Sister, if you ever meet him alone again, remember to take me with you. This guy isn’t as simple as you think." Li Xiang warned. Although his sister's cultivation level was higher than his, she was still too young.
She found it hard to believe that everyone was like him—were they all upright gentlemen?
"Li Xiang, Chen Zi promised me he would give you medicine. You should thank him later."
"I don’t need to."
At that moment, an elder called for Li Xiang, instructing him to line up.

Just as Li Xiang had thought, when some factions learned that Chen Anlin was coming, they began to inquire about his intentions. If the court supported Wan Jian Mountain Villa, then they really needed to weigh their options carefully.
Meanwhile, Chen Anlin had secretly contacted Yang Dou and some people from the Eastern Factory. These individuals were scattered around the area, gathering information for him.
On another front, a fragment of Bai Yu Fairy's soul had already latched onto Li Xiang. Every move Li Xiang made was under her watchful eye.
No one expected that this Li Xiang was actually quite infatuated with his sister. He also possessed a soul body with considerable strength.

She had thought it through; her brother was like a rat crossing the street—once he left this place, various sects outside would target him. Those people suspected that the treasures were in his hands. If her brother could become Chen Anlin’s subordinate, things would be different. Those people would definitely hesitate to act against him, which would mean her brother would be safe.
Then, Li Xuexin praised Li Xiang in many ways and even hinted that if Chen Anlin agreed, she might consider some things she wasn’t willing to do.
“Wow, if he’s really as outstanding as you say, I might consider him,” Chen Anlin nodded.
“Thank you, Zi.”
Li Xuexin felt a sense of relief in her heart.
Unbeknownst to them, while they were talking, Li Xiang was watching them from a distance with anger. He realized that his sister and Chen Anlin were getting too close.
“Seriously, my sister is so foolish! I told her not to walk alone with Chen Anlin; why doesn’t she listen?” Li Xiang frowned.
