After an investigation by the discipline inspection and supervision departments confirmed that Town Chief Feng's report was largely accurate, County Committee Secretary Li Gaoqiang, newly appointed Deputy Secretary Chen Hanjie, County Mayor Jiang Ruming, and Vice County Head Mao Weiguo attended a report meeting. Deputy Secretary Chen Hanjie believed that while direct responsibility should be addressed according to regulations, it should not be expanded or extended beyond the specific incident.
Vice County Head Mao Weiguo disagreed, stating that Niu Huahua was not only a successful example of attracting investment in Annan County but also a flagship for Jinan City's investment efforts. Further investigation revealed that Sima Huangfeng was the nephew of Qi Zhengtai, head of the Annan County Bureau of Industry and Commerce, while Qi Jiancai was his cousin. Their employment procedures were also found to be non-compliant.
During Deputy Town Head Mao's speech, Secretary Li Gaoqiang frequently nodded in agreement, and County Mayor Jiang Ruming expressed his support as well. There was no need for a formal vote on this matter.
