Previously, when Shen Du and Yan Nian had dinner, they usually sat face to face. Now, with the four of them at a table, Ji Zheyuan naturally sat next to Song Xiaolin. The two would occasionally bicker playfully, their chemistry evident. 0

Shen Du sat beside her, seemingly very eager to serve her, always refilling her small bowl the moment it was empty. 0

Yan Nian rubbed her belly and spoke softly, "Uncle Shen." 0

"Hmm?" Shen Du slightly turned his body toward her. 0

With a hint of grievance in her eyes, she said, "I suspect you’re feeding a pig." 0

Shen Du paused with his chopsticks, the piece of yellow croaker he was about to give her now going into his own bowl instead. 0

Hearing him chuckle lightly, Yan Nian retorted, "With your appetite, I can only be considered feeding a cat." 0

Song Xiaolin was looking at her phone when she suddenly suggested, "Hey, how about we plan a trip to Xishan?" 0

Ji Zheyuan replied dismissively, "What’s there to enjoy at that barren mountain?" 0

"How can you say that?" Song Xiaolin shot him a glare. "You haven’t taken me out in ages!" 0

"I heard they’ve developed a new camping site there," she continued enthusiastically, showing him her phone. "We could stay overnight and if we’re lucky, we might even see the sunrise over the sea of clouds." 0

Shen Du nodded toward Ji Zheyuan. "You should take Xiaolin out for a trip. The Du Hualong case is almost wrapped up, and there’s nothing particularly urgent at the firm right now." 0

"That’s exactly what I was waiting to hear!" Ji Zheyuan wrapped an arm around Song Xiaolin. "So it’s settled then?" 0

Feeling a bit shy, Song Xiaolin wriggled free and playfully chided him, "There’s still a young lady watching!" 0

"You two are like an old married couple and you’re still shy?" Ji Zheyuan looked at Yan Nian, who had been silent all this time. "Sister Yan Nian just got a break; why don’t you join us? It’s not far—just the outskirts." 0

"Me?" Yan Nian was momentarily taken aback. "Wouldn’t that be inappropriate?" 0

"What’s inappropriate about it?" Song Xiaolin laughed. "Let Shen Lu also come along; the more people, the more fun!" 0

Noticing Yan Nian's gaze, Shen Du gently asked her, "Do you want to go?" 0

After contemplating for a moment, she nodded lightly. 0

She didn’t want to miss any opportunity to spend time with him. 0

Ji Zheyuan clapped his hands together. "Then it’s settled!" 0

When Lin Mo and Fang Yiran returned to their dorm after dinner, they found Yan Nian's table in disarray. The wardrobe was half-open and clothes were piled high on the bed. At that moment, she was on the floor, struggling to dig something out from under the bed. 0

Lin Mo carefully stepped over her half-open suitcase. "Are you moving?" 0

Yao Nian finally dragged another suitcase out from under the bed, dusted it off, and muttered as she opened it, "Still can't find where it went?" 0

"What are you looking for?" Fang Yiran placed the milk tea she had brought for Yao Nian on her desk. 0

Yao Nian stood up, her expression a bit dazed. "I can't find my camera." 0

When she returned to the dormitory that evening, she had planned to go out and thought it would be perfect to bring the camera that Qiao Shuzhen had given her to take some nice photos with everyone. But after rummaging through her things, she realized she couldn't find it at all. 0

She remembered putting it at the bottom of her wardrobe drawer. 0

"What camera?" Lin Mo suddenly recalled. "Isn't that the one you took out during our military training performance? The one that the senior borrowed?" 0

Yao Nian nodded. "I haven't seen it since that performance." 0

"When was the last time you saw the camera?" Lin Mo asked. 0

She thought for a moment. "I think it was last Tuesday or Wednesday. I remember it was really cold that day when I was organizing my wardrobe." 0

Fang Yiran suddenly exclaimed, "My headphones are missing too!" 0

Yao Nian and Lin Mo had both seen her headphones; they were over-ear ones. She loved binge-watching dramas but was afraid of disturbing everyone with the sound, so she often wore them in the dormitory and would casually toss them next to her computer. 0

Without saying a word, Lin Mo immediately ran back to her spot and started rummaging through her desk and cabinet. 0
