Wang Meili trembled with anger. "Then his body must still be here, right?"
I calmly replied, "It has been cremated."
Wang Meili and Wang Fugui's eyes widened in shock. "What did you say?"
I repeated, "I cremated him."
Wang Meili erupted in a fit of rage. "You ungrateful wretch! How could you be so disrespectful!"
"You didn't even inform us when your father died, and now you've gone and cremated his body without letting us see it. What were you thinking?"
I chuckled, "To be honest, all of my father's inheritance is mine, so I had no obligation to inform you."
Wang Meili's face contorted with fury. "You..."
I smugly declared, "You won't get a single cent; it must drive you crazy!"
Wang Meili rolled her eyes in disbelief. "You..."
I stuck my tongue out at her playfully. "It'll make you mad, it'll make you mad!"
Wang Meili pounded her chest in frustration. "You little beast! I’m going to teach you a good lesson today!"
Her son, Wang Fugui, rolled up his sleeves, looking ready to throw a punch.
I called security and had them thrown out of the neighborhood.
Then, I listed the villa online.
I planned to buy a new house.
Unbeknownst to me, news of my house sale reached Wang Meili and her son, who barged into my home to stop me from selling it.
"Mai Guoliang, do you have the right to sell this house?"
Wang Meili grabbed my clothes and shouted at me hysterically.
"Even if I sell it, half of this belongs to my son!"
Her son pointed a finger at me and cursed,
"You killed my dad and now you want to take all the property? No way!"
"Today, I'm going to teach you a good lesson!"
A few clients who came to view the house were frightened by the scene and didn't know what to do.
"Sir, are you still selling the house?"
I calmly replied, "Of course, why wouldn't I?"
I took out my phone and called the security to come help.
Wang Meili's son saw that I was about to call for help and pulled out his own phone, threatening me fiercely,
"You think you're the only one who can call for help? I have plenty of people too! I'll get them over here to show you what’s what!"
The agents immediately panicked. "Sir, we won't be looking at this house anymore. We're leaving!"
Just then, the sound of police sirens filled the air.
The agents felt a sense of relief.
However, Wang Meili's son became flustered and nervously took out his phone to make a call.
I snatched his phone and smashed it on the ground. "Don't even think about tipping anyone off."
"Don't worry, I'll pay you back for the phone," I said.
Wang Meili's son turned pale with anger. "You..."
When the police arrived, I stepped forward and admitted that I was the one who called them.
"Someone is trying to break in and commit murder."
Two police officers immediately stopped Wang Meili and her son, who were attempting to slip away.
"Officer, you misunderstand us! We're here to claim an inheritance, not to cause trouble," Wang Meili hurriedly explained.
Just then, a group of over a dozen thugs armed with steel pipes and knives burst into the scene, looking fierce and menacing.
"How dare you! Gathering here to cause a ruckus!"
"Put your hands up!"
"Run!"
"Chase them!"
The scene erupted into chaos as the police managed to catch a few of the fleeing individuals, while others managed to escape.
Seeing that things were going awry, Wang Meili quickly signaled me to explain the situation to the police.
As if I would listen to her.
"If it weren't for the officers being here, I might have been hacked to death by you lot!"
"This matter must be investigated thoroughly!"
Wang Meili and her son struggled for a moment before being taken away by the police.
