Chen Li held back his nausea, pinching his nose as he hurried to Xuanjizi's residence.
Upon finding Xuanjizi, Chen Li handed over the Jade Box and said heavily, "Elder Xuanjizi, this is the Blood Cleansing Pill. You should take it."
Xuanjizi looked at the peculiar pill, his expression turning strange. After living for so many years and refining countless pills, he had never seen anything so astonishing.
"This is the Blood Cleansing Pill?" Xuanjizi pointed at the pill, his tone filled with disdain.
Chen Li forced a smile and nodded, "That's right, this is the Blood Cleansing Pill. The process of refining it was nothing short of a nightmare! You have no idea how foul the excrement of the Millennium Xuanbing Silkworm is."
As he spoke, memories of the refining process flooded back to him, making his face grow even more sullen. To extract the essence from the eye mucus of the Ten Thousand Year Fire Lizard, he had to carefully use a slender silver needle to scrape it from the corner of its eye. The fire lizard was notoriously temperamental; one wrong move could result in a blast of flames that nearly turned him to ash.
Then there was the wood struck by the Nine Heavens Thunder Tribulation, which was as hard as stone. He tried every method imaginable before he could barely grind it into powder. Even worse, that powder contained residual lightning energy that could paralyze him if he wasn't careful.
What drove him to despair was that in the final stages of pill refinement, he needed to drop his own blood into the Dan Furnace as an ingredient. The recipe for this Blood Cleansing Pill required a full ten drops of blood! After those ten drops, he nearly fainted.
Thinking about it made Chen Li feel overwhelmed with emotion; tears streaming down his face, he cried out to Xuanjizi, "Senior Xuanjizi, please give it a try! I nearly lost my life just to refine this pill!"
Seeing Chen Li in such a state stirred mixed feelings within Xuanjizi. He took a deep breath and picked up the bizarre pill, slowly placing it in his mouth.

What on earth is this thing! Xuanjizi shouted in terror.
Beside him, Chen Li awkwardly scratched his nose, secretly communicating with the hedgehog.
You little rascal, what is going on? Aren't you putting me in a bind?
The hedgehog lazily rolled its eyes and replied telepathically: Master, don’t panic. Trust me; you won’t regret it. Soon enough, he’ll be thanking you!
After saying that, the hedgehog changed positions and lay down on Chen Li's shoulder to sleep.
Chen Li could only chuckle awkwardly and discreetly distance himself from Xuanjizi. If anything happened, Xuanjizi would definitely take him down!
Xuanjizi’s face darkened as he was about to explode with anger when he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his arm.
He saw those red fine lines on his arm shrink back as if they had encountered a natural enemy. The once arrogant Crimson Demon Spider poison markings now resembled frightened dogs fleeing in all directions.
That feces-green pill, which was actually the Little Bug, charged through his meridians, devouring every Crimson Demon Spider in its path. It acted like a greedy glutton, treating these demon spiders as delicacies to be savored.
This is incredible! Xuanjizi's eyes widened; he couldn't care less about feeling nauseous as he stared at the visible changes on his arm, overwhelmed by excitement.
In just a short while, the Blood Sacrifice Spider that had plagued him for years vanished completely, and the Little Bug emerged from beneath his skin as if it had feasted well.
It radiated an eerie Black Light, and its size had increased significantly, making it look even more disgusting. Ou Chen Li couldn't hold back any longer and retched.
In a flash, Chen Li swiftly cast the Transcendental Rebirth Incantation, and a beam of golden light instantly bound Little Bug. Little Bug struggled violently, emitting sharp screeches, but soon it turned to ashes and completely vanished.
In that moment, Xuanjizi felt an overwhelming sense of relief; his body, which had been tormented by the demon spider, now felt incredibly light. The energy within him surged dramatically, rapidly restoring his Vital Energy to its peak, with faint signs of a breakthrough emerging.
Xuanjizi incredulously examined his arms, feeling as if he were dreaming. Li Yuanhua and the dean, Xiao Qingshan, gathered around him, circling him while scrutinizing him from head to toe, their expressions still filled with disbelief.
"Is it really over?" Xiao Qingshan asked uncertainly.
Xuanjizi nodded heavily, his voice hoarse with excitement. "It's really lifted! The Blood Sacrifice Spider's curse has truly been broken!"
Xiao Qingshan and Li Yuanhua exchanged glances, shock and joy reflected in their eyes. The curse of the Blood Sacrifice Spider that had plagued Xuanjizi for years had been so easily dispelled?
Thinking of that bizarre and nauseating elixir from earlier, they both turned their gazes toward Chen Li.
"Chen Li, do you have any more of that elixir?" Li Yuanhua asked eagerly, leaning closer.
The two wore expressions of friendly smiles that seemed almost too sweet, resembling two child traffickers.
