The only way out now was into the desolate depths of the mountain range. Cloud Sword Elder gazed into the heart of the Azure Wind Mountain Range and spoke in a deep voice.
That place was said to be a forbidden zone where even beasts dared not tread lightly. Although entering it was akin to courting death, it was still the best option in this dire situation.
"What? That cursed place? Isn't that asking for death?" Blazing Sun Elder exclaimed, jumping up. He would rather fight those beasts than venture into that unknown forbidden land.
Is there any other choice? Cloud Sword Elder replied with a bitter smile.
Blazing Sun Elder hesitated. He knew Cloud Sword Elder was right; instead of waiting for death, it was better to take a risk—there might still be a glimmer of hope.
Everyone, Old Madam has made her decision! Farewell!
With that, Cloud Sword Elder instructed his disciples behind him, "All disciples, follow my lead and carve a bloody path into the depths of the mountains!"
Upon hearing this, everyone felt a chill run down their spines. They knew that what lay ahead would be a desperate battle for survival!
The disciples of Heavenly Dao Sect followed closely behind Cloud Sword Elder, who led the charge with his sword raised high. The sword energy surged forth as he fought through the horde of beasts.

The disciples formed a sword formation, barely holding off the frenzied attacks of the beasts.

A massive Giant Bear Beast swung its enormous paw down towards one of the Heavenly Dao Sect disciples. The disciple couldn't dodge in time and was about to meet his doom beneath the bear's paw when a sharp flash of sword light cut through the air, severing the bear's paw.
"Thank you, Brother Yun!" The disciple gasped in relief, looking gratefully at his savior.
The one who intervened was none other than Yun Fei, the eldest disciple of Cloud Sword Elder.
"Be careful!" Yun Fei said coldly, his expression unchanging as he continued to push forward.
On the other side, things were not going as well for the Blazing Sun Sect members.
"Damn it! Why are there so many of these beasts?" Blazing Sun Elder cursed while fending off their attacks.
"Brother, we can't hold on much longer!" a panicked Blazing Sun Sect disciple shouted.
"What are you panicking for? Hold your ground!" Blazing Sun Elder roared back, unleashing scorching flames from his palms that incinerated several attacking beasts into ashes.
However, there were simply too many beasts; they couldn't kill them all. The disciples of Blazing Sun Sect began to feel overwhelmed.
Ah!
A scream pierced through the air as one disciple was caught off guard and knocked to the ground by a Leopard Beast. Its claws raked across his chest, instantly soaking his clothes in blood.
"Junior brother!"
"You beast! I will kill you!"
Seeing this, the surrounding Blazing Sun Sect disciples' eyes turned bloodshot as they charged forward in fury to rescue their comrade.
At that moment, a thunderous roar echoed from deep within the mountain range, sending shivers down the spines of everyone present.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake violently, massive cracks splitting open beneath their feet, and countless trees were uprooted, soaring into the sky.
What was happening? Was it an earthquake?
No! This wasn't an earthquake!
Everyone stared in terror towards the depths of the mountains, where a colossal shadow slowly emerged from the mist, coming into view.
It was an enormous giant ape, towering at least ten feet tall, its body covered in black fur that exuded a suffocating aura of terror.
This was a Fifth-Order Beast! The Black Magic Ape!
Someone recognized the beast and gasped in horror.
A Fifth-Order Beast was equivalent to a Mystic Boundary Level Two existence for humans—a terrifying entity!
The Black Magic Ape let out a deafening roar that shook the surrounding peaks.
This is bad! Run!
We can't possibly deal with this monster!
Run!
Witnessing this scene, both disciples of the Three Major Sects and those Lone Cultivators were paralyzed with fear, turning to flee for their lives.

With a sickening crunch, the Tiger Beast's teeth sank into Chen Li's shoulder, blood gushing forth.
