In the early morning, when the thin mist had yet to fully dissipate, there was a hurried knock on the office door. The visitor was Officer Matsuda, his face pale and his demeanor unusually anxious. 0

"Miss Silence, we are in big trouble!" Matsuda exclaimed as he entered. "The city's largest bank, Fog Hidden Bank, was robbed last night. There are very few clues left at the scene, and all the surveillance equipment has failed. We are at a loss." 0

Upon hearing this, Silence furrowed her brow, then stood up and put on her coat, preparing to head to the scene. She knew that every case was a test of her abilities, and this one seemed particularly challenging. 0

Fog Hidden Bank was located in the heart of the city, housed in an opulent European-style building. At that moment, both the inside and outside of the bank were cordoned off by the police, with a crowd of curious citizens gathered beyond the barricades. Guided by Silence and Matsuda, they navigated through layers of security to enter the scene. 0

The place was in disarray; safes had been violently opened, cash and documents scattered everywhere, indicating the severity of the robbery. What puzzled them most was that the bank's security system had completely failed during the incident—no alarms had sounded, and the surveillance footage was blank. 0

This was clearly a meticulously planned crime. Silence surveyed her surroundings and said quietly, "I need to review all security records and employee information from the bank." 0

Matsuda immediately arranged for personnel to provide the relevant data while Silence settled into a corner to carefully study each document. As time ticked by, she froze when she came across a file on a newly hired employee. 0

"This person," she pointed at the photo in the file, "what's his name? Why was he transferred to the bank just one day before the incident?" 0

Matsuda checked the records and replied, "His name is Sato. He originally worked at another branch but was temporarily transferred here due to staffing needs from headquarters. Is there a problem?" 0

Silence did not answer directly; instead, she fell into deep thought. She sensed that Sato's appearance might be key to unraveling this mystery. 0

To investigate Sato's background further, Silence decided to personally visit his former branch. It was located in a relatively remote part of the city but had strict management protocols. She entered under the guise of an investigator and directly sought out Sato's former supervisor. 0

After some inquiries, Silence learned that Sato had performed adequately at his previous job without any notable characteristics. However, one detail caught her attention: Sato seemed particularly interested in the bank's security system and frequently asked colleagues about its specifics. 0

This could not be mere coincidence. Silence thought to herself; he might have been preparing for this robbery. 0

When Silence returned to headquarters to continue investigating Sato, she discovered that he had vanished without a trace. The police tracked him through surveillance footage and found that he had last been seen on the city's outskirts before disappearing completely. 0

"He must be hiding somewhere we can't easily find," Silence analyzed. "Fog Hidden is the perfect cover." 0

Determined to use her familiarity with foggy terrains to search for Sato herself, she donned a raincoat and put on anti-fog goggles before plunging into the thick mist. 0

After hours of difficult searching, Silence finally spotted a faint light outside an abandoned warehouse. She quietly approached and peered through a crack in the door, seeing Sato sitting on the floor with a laptop in hand—the screen displayed the bank's security system interface. 0

So that's how it is, Silence thought with a smirk; he used his knowledge of the bank's security system to implant a virus beforehand that paralyzed the entire system during the robbery. 0

Just as she prepared to burst in and apprehend Sato, she noticed another figure inside—the former Security Chief of the bank—who had assisted Sato in executing this robbery. 0

"Sato, you can't escape," Silence said coldly as she pushed open the door. 0

Seeing her, Sato's face turned desperate but quickly morphed into a sinister grin. "You think you can catch me? Just look outside at the fog; you'll never find any evidence." 0
