His gaze dimmed, and it felt as though all his strength had been drained away. Gradually losing his ability to stand, he sank slowly to the ground. With great difficulty, he turned his head to look at the one who had stabbed him, disbelief and anger filling his eyes.
He tried to utter a word but could only manage a faint sound. The Little Devil said, "I'm sorry, I don't want to die! And I want to know what roasted chicken tastes like! So I have no choice but to make you suffer!"
With that, he forcefully pulled the blade out of the other’s body, splattering blood everywhere. This scene sent chills down the spines of those around them, a wave of coldness washing over them.
They never expected that someone would actually take action under such circumstances. The once united Little Devils began to suspect and be wary of each other; every individual was filled with distrust toward their companions.
