Lin Tianyu paused, turning to look at Xu Shuyang with cold, deep eyes that seemed to see through everything. He waved his hand lightly, signaling Lin Yi and the others to let him go.
"What can you do?" Lin Tianyu asked indifferently, a hint of authority in his voice.
Xu Shuyang was taken aback for a moment, feeling a wave of despair wash over him. He had been an executive at a technology and construction company, specializing in designing and building highly secure homes. But now, facing this man who no longer needed designs for houses, he felt his skills had become insignificant.
"Big brother, I work in technological construction—designing buildings like yours that prioritize safety," Xu Shuyang hesitated before answering truthfully. He knew well that Lin Tianyu's house already achieved the pinnacle of safety performance, rendering any further design or optimization unnecessary. He worried that revealing his area of expertise might lead Lin Tianyu to see him as useless, making it hard for him to speak up.
"Oh? You mean you also design and build safe houses?" Lin Tianyu raised an eyebrow, a slight smile playing at the corners of his mouth.
"Yes, yes! Not just safe houses; I enhance the safety performance of all buildings," Xu Shuyang continued.
After pondering for a moment, Lin Tianyu concluded that his villa did not need any modifications. However, he could make some adjustments to the surrounding villas. After all, having more land would provide additional safe activity space.
Moreover, during his time in the country, he had collected various metals and equipment wherever he went and had acquired many large alloy factories. These resources were piled high in his space. Additionally, he had gathered a significant amount of special metals from the National Military Base.
With so many resources lying idle without proper utilization, wasn't that a waste? Rather than letting them sit unused, it would be better to convert them into actual items. What was the point of hoarding these materials if he wasn't going to use them?
Lin Tianyu decided to take action and transform these resources into practical goods to realize their value. Furthermore, even if Xu Shuyang hadn’t come seeking him out, Chen Yunsong still needed to be eliminated. Now that Xu Shuyang was here, it presented a perfect opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.
"Well then," Lin Tianyu said to Xu Shuyang, "seeing as you still have some value left, I can help you take revenge on this matter. However, whether or not we can rescue those people is another story. If they refuse to cooperate willingly, I'll blow them all away."
Xu Shuyang knew all too well that he had no other choice. Lin Tianyu took out a bracelet and casually tossed it to Xu Shuyang. "Put this on. From now on, you are one of us."
Although Xu Shuyang was fully aware that this bracelet was definitely not something good, he obediently slipped it onto his ankle.
After seeing Xu Shuyang wear the bracelet, Lin Tianyu pulled out a controller from thin air and instantly activated the current.
