The situation suddenly reached a stalemate, with Pulsar using Fierce Eagle as leverage, while Divine Fist and Blue Face Hero simultaneously aimed at Pulsar.
"Weishan, make your move!" Fierce Eagle shouted. "I can take it!"
"I don't think your armor can withstand my electromagnetic pulse beam," Pulsar replied.
"Then let's see you try!" Fierce Eagle responded fearlessly.
In that moment, Pulsar felt a genuine urge to strike, believing that on this newly emerging planet in the cosmic society, there likely wasn't a weapon capable of breaching his Battle Armor's defenses. However, the thought of Prince Nars of the Inner Beings aiming at him—who had already unlocked the Third-Order Space-Time Equipment Library—made him hesitate. The weapons from that library could certainly harm him.
Just then, Blue Face Hero noticed Pulsar's indecision. The Time-Space Equipment Library appeared in his hands, and a strong magnetic hook lock materialized on his wrist. He shot out the hook lock, which attached itself to Fierce Eagle's armor. Realizing he had been tricked, Pulsar wasted no time in unleashing the electromagnetic pulse he had gathered. However, Fierce Eagle was prepared; he and Blue Face Hero seemed to have coordinated their actions perfectly. The Tian Yuan-level Particle Shield instantly deployed, blocking the incoming electromagnetic pulse beam!
Blue Face Hero pulled hard from behind while Fierce Eagle activated his Thruster. With their seamless cooperation, Fierce Eagle successfully broke free from Pulsar's control and returned to Blue Face Hero's side.
The Tian Yuan-level Particle Shield was a second-generation battle shield installed by Dr. Chen Hao on the Fire Eagle Armor. It incorporated carbon nanotubes into the armor section, making it dozens of times stronger than diamond. The particle section utilized ultra-fine plasma shielding technology; aside from gamma rays, almost no beam could penetrate this Particle Shield. Pulsar's proud electrical abilities had no room to manifest against the Tian Yuan-level Particle Shield!
Seeing that Fierce Eagle had escaped control, Divine Fist no longer hesitated and immediately fired the cannon he had already aimed at Pulsar. The impact sent Pulsar flying as he was struck in the waist by Divine Fist's cannon fire. However, he quickly regained his footing and faced Divine Fist head-on. With a powerful elbow strike accompanied by a surge of electricity, he exchanged blows with Divine Fist. Divine Fist managed to retract one hand to protect his chest but was still knocked back by Pulsar's tremendous force. Meanwhile, Pulsar absorbed Divine Fist's attack with little more than a shift of his face in response; he remained completely unaffected.
It wasn't that Divine Fist lacked power; rather, Pulsar possessed an extraordinary resistance to impact, with a lower body as stable as a mountain. Even someone as strong as Divine Fist found it difficult to shake him.
"I told you not to force my hand," Pulsar said as he gathered electric energy into blades in both hands and stepped toward Fierce Eagle and Blue Face Hero. "But if it comes down to a fight, I admit you are formidable opponents."
Fierce Eagle was the first to draw his battle sword, placing its blade against his shield before switching it to gun mode and firing a laser beam at Pulsar. Simultaneously, Blue Face Hero charged up his Tianchuang Gloves with cosmic energy directed at Pulsar. In response to their combined attack, Pulsar merely sidestepped; the beam and cosmic energy wave narrowly missed him. He then turned around and hurled the electric blade he had formed earlier directly into Fierce Eagle's chest armor!
The electric blade shattered upon impact like an ice spike hitting a wall. Although Fire Eagle Armor managed to absorb the lethal blow for An Xiaotian, the sudden electromagnetic shock caused chaos within Fierce Eagle's armor system. "Sir, weapon systems... have collapsed; I am attempting repairs," Xiao Ling reminded from within the armor.
While the Tian Yuan-level battle shield could protect Fierce Eagle from Pulsar's attacks, Pulsar's innate electromagnetic properties were particularly effective against Fierce Eagle's armor. Any form of attack from Pulsar would disrupt all electronic systems within Fierce Eagle’s armor. The impact of the electric blade caused further chaos within the armor’s systems; even the gun mode of his battle sword was hindered and could no longer fire.
"Hmph, too easy to defeat," Pulsar scoffed before spreading his arms wide. Two five-meter-long arcs of electromagnetic pulses coalesced in his hands, slicing through the northern building!
Blue Face Hero gasped in shock: "Xiaotian, duck!"
Pulsar began to spin! His attack style was chilling and fearsome. He spun rapidly in place while two extraordinarily long arcs of electromagnetic pulses followed suit around him like a spinning stick in mid-air. As he spun faster and faster, a massive storm began to form around him—not just wind but also random arcs of electricity—charging toward both opponents!
Seeing this, Blue Face Hero immediately activated his Thruster and hurriedly pulled up the now powerless Fierce Eagle into the air.
"Nars," Liu Xuan said through his secondary personality as they analyzed through their goggles, "the readings show there is current flowing within him and it's being released rhythmically."
"I suspect that what Ocpie controls is similar to what Xiaotian has inside him; they might both be Variant currents," Nars added thoughtfully. "However, Xiaotian doesn't know how to manipulate it; he's just using what's inside him."
"Is he also a Variant current?" Fierce Eagle asked.
"I suspect so," Nars replied. "To control electromagnetic forces requires either training in Spell Arts or relying on unique physiological patterns within one's body. When he attacked, I didn't see any signs characteristic of Spell Arts being used; it seems he's operating purely on innate physiological mechanisms."
"If that's true... wait!"
A surge of electric arcs struck Fierce Eagle’s armor again with tremendous force, causing him to grunt in pain. Within the electric arc storm created by Pulsar’s spin, countless electric arcs rained down like arrows shot from a single point towards them.
"Liu Xuan! Nars! Let me try!" Fierce Eagle shouted.
"Try what? You could die!"
"Don't worry about it, let go of me! You can still use your hands to summon the Particle Shield! I have armor for protection; even a jolt from an electric arc could be fatal!"
Reluctantly, Blue Face Hero retracted the strong magnetic hook while raising the Backdrop-style barrier. The electric arcs rained down like bullets, striking the barrier and producing a piercing hum. He watched as Fierce Eagle landed back on the ground, and then... unlocked the armor on his right hand, leaving it exposed!
"Xiaotian—"
An electric arc surged toward Fierce Eagle, but strangely, this arc that was originally aimed at his head suddenly veered toward his fingertips as if drawn by some unseen force. A tingling sensation spread from his fingertips throughout his body, accompanied by a brief flash of pain that quickly dissipated.
"My guess was correct," An Xiaotian noted as he absorbed the Variant current from Pulsar. The systems in the display began to reactivate. "The power system within the armor relies partially on the Variant current in my body. If I can utilize and absorb the Variant current he's transmitting, it might just restart my Fire Eagle Armor!"
However, the cost of An Xiaotian's plan was evident; any connection to the Variant current would inevitably bring him pain. Pulsar was unaware that this opponent also contained Variant current within him. Seeing him half-kneeling on the ground, Pulsar assumed he had been defeated by his own attack and unleashed even more electromagnetic pulses toward An Xiaotian!
More and more Variant currents began to gather, concentrating at An Xiaotian's exposed fingertips. "Ahhh—" An Xiaotian endured immense torment as the systems within his armor continued to siphon excess electrical energy from him. "Monitoring significant changes in bodily data; adjusting internal resistance to suppress Variant current," reported the intelligent Xiao Ling, which had returned to normal operational status.
"Don't! Whatever you do, don't adjust the armor's resistance!" An Xiaotian gritted his teeth and shouted, also directing his words to Blue Face Hero. "I'm using the opponent's attack to recharge my armor! Xiao Ling, trust me—don't change anything!"
Blue Face Hero had initially intended to break through the barrier to save him but halted upon hearing Fierce Eagle's plan. "He'll get himself killed!" Nars said to Liu Xuan. "Just say the word, and we'll rush down to save him."
"I trust An Xiaotian," Liu Xuan replied firmly. "I've always believed in him."
"But..."
"No! It's getting too hot." An Xiaotian felt himself overheating; his fingertips were red enough that he could see bone beneath them. His head throbbed painfully, each pulse resonating like chords in a melody within his skull. He could no longer hold on and collapsed.
"Xiaotian!" Nars couldn't bear it any longer and charged toward the ground. In that instant, instinct kicked in as he swiftly dodged; an electromagnetic pulse narrowly missed his nose! He landed back on the ground, positioning himself in front of Fierce Eagle while summoning a hand cannon aimed at Pulsar emerging from the storm.
"It seems your teammate is quite fragile," Pulsar remarked as the rings on his wrists spun ominously. "Nars, I've heard much about you; let's have a proper fight! Here we go—"
A gust of wind swept through as Pulsar leaped into action, condensing electromagnetic energy into dual blades aimed at Blue Face Hero. Instantly retreating, Blue Face Hero summoned a Laser Long Curved Blade just as Pulsar pursued relentlessly with thrusts of his blades. When their weapons clashed, a shockwave erupted around them!
"Hey, I have something to say."
Pulsar was taken aback and turned around.
"You really thought I was defeated by your electric current?" Fierce Eagle stood up again, all systems operational once more. The ominous barrel of his battle sword pointed menacingly at Pulsar. "The electromagnetic energy you gifted me is quite useful—I accept it!"
