The bold invasion from the Ninth Underworld into the Dust Realm is fueled by the fall of the Radiant Sovereign and the Primordial Sovereign. With their demise, there are now opportunities for others to seize power. The two great sovereigns' downfall signifies a reshuffling of interests among the elite at the top of the pyramid. The Dust Realm resembles a banquet table, constantly changing with the number of guests around it. As Yan Dong observes, with two fewer people at the table, the remaining dishes naturally shift in ownership. The large-scale invasion from the Ninth Underworld does not stem from Ye Youluo's encouragement, nor is she its driving force; she lacks such power and would not make that choice. Everything is merely a pawn in the game of sovereigns, whether it be for control or fortune, including herself.

Whether divine or mortal, all seek to exist in this world with desires and aspirations. In the vast expanse of heaven's east, there are those who are free from desires, able to laugh off worldly matters and forget about mortal concerns with a mere snap of their fingers.
Gu Ping and Ye Youluo exchanged information about events that transpired many years ago in the heavenly realm. They learned that the Primordial Sovereign was among the first to move against the Radiant Sovereign, igniting a battle known only to a select few. Subsequently, their efforts were thwarted by Tai Xu Zun, while Youluo Zun acted like a mantis stalking its prey, with Yellow Spring Sovereign lurking behind as an opportunistic bird. Limitless Respect stirred up chaos and informed Radiant Sovereign's rare friend, Future Radiance Buddha. With Future Radiance Buddha's involvement came Infinite Sovereign as well; after all, Future Radiance Buddha was once Infinite Sovereign's eldest disciple and Amitabha Buddha's brother. Amitabha Buddha was also Future Buddha Maitreya's eldest disciple and studied under Infinite Sovereign.
Future Buddha managed to protect Future Radiance Buddha from Yellow Spring Sovereign's assault. However, initially, Wei Guangming suffered injuries due to being besieged by Primordial Sovereign and Youluo Zun but fought desperately to send the Light Canon to Eastern Realm.
The plan was to eradicate light entirely by locating the lost Light Canon alongside Primordial Sovereign and Youluo Zun. The three joined forces against Radiant Sovereign while Wei Guangming's fall caused what was once a colossal entity in heaven to shatter within just a month into several factions: one under Future Radiance Buddha protecting Buddhist Sect interests, another comprised of Wei Guangming's loyalists struggling to maintain control amidst chaos at Three Great Gates.
What remained were hidden factions under sovereign protection—Yan Dong’s scattered agents within various Major Sects—though fragmented, they still adhered to light’s overarching strategy with all names listed within light’s lineage.
Jie Donglai represented Gu Ping’s experiences intertwined with death during Yuezi; thus Gu Ping smiled lightly without elaborating further. Ye Youluo understood well; she had reviewed all files concerning Gu Ping and had to admit that even if she were Yan Dong, she could not have extricated herself unscathed or profited from it as Gu Ping did. This distinct quality set Gu Ping apart; even without the Light Canon or Yuan Shi foundation, Gu Ping remained unchanged—merely differing in time.

The Buddhist Sect was weak but had produced two transcendent Buddhas throughout time. Though the Buddha had long departed from this realm, Tathagata Buddha had reached the Western Paradise. The Future Buddha had not yet transcended but had already attained enlightenment; once Tathagata Buddha completed his mission, he would become the only great transcendent being in existence—an achievement even the revered could not reach.
