Liu Jia was currently in the Prince's Mansion of Liu Xia Jingcheng. The Talisman that Afu had detonated before his death had destroyed a large part of the Liudong Imperial Palace, which was still under construction. Upon his return, Liu Jia found it almost effortless to take control of the situation, as the Liu Xia royal family now consisted only of him and his descendants, along with the Fourth Prince who had been exiled years ago. 0

Reclining in a grand chair, Liu Jia fanned himself while contemplating the future of the Liu Xia Dynasty. He analyzed the current situation and pondered how to be a good emperor, envisioning the grand ambitions he was about to embark upon. 0

However, all of this hinged on one premise: he needed to help the Moon River Sect find someone named Gu. He couldn't help but complain about the deceased Liu Qi, who had wanted to forge alliances with Mo Ming Academy while also trying to bring Ming Huang Sect into their territory. Now, it seemed he had left behind a mess for himself and had never seen anyone so foolish. 0

Shaking his head at these thoughts, Liu Jia had already dispatched people to keep an eye on Tuan City. The moment he seized control of the Liu Xia situation, he gained more manpower to search for Gu. He viewed this search as a training exercise, with some of his reach even extending into Great Jin. 0

He firmly believed that the rat named Gu was hiding just outside Great Jin. Although he didn't know what Gu was truly after, he initially thought that intercepting him on the way to Mo Ming Academy would be a good start. 0

But that wasn't what Liu Jia truly desired. He wanted to successfully complete this mission so that the Moon River Sect would regard him with more respect and offer him greater support. 0

Just as he was lost in thought, a young eunuch approached to report, "Your Majesty Dong, there is a young man outside claiming to be from the Moon River Sect who wishes to see you. He seems quite well-mannered." 0

Upon hearing the name Moon River Sect, Liu Jia immediately stood up from his chair and rushed out to greet him, scolding as he went, "My little eunuch is so lacking in manners! How could you let an immortal wait outside? From now on, remember to let all members of the Moon River Sect enter directly!" 0

"No, no! Your Majesty Dong is right; I deserve punishment! I know I was wrong!" The young eunuch exclaimed as he slapped himself in remorse, reddening his face. 0

Liu Jia kicked the young eunuch aside and stepped out of the door. Seeing that Liu Jia did not blame him further, the eunuch quickly slipped away. 0

"Forgive my lack of courtesy in not welcoming you properly," Liu Jia said with a gesture inviting the Moon River Sect members inside. 0

The young man appeared very polite and responded courteously, "Your Highness is too kind. I am merely a wandering hermit from the mountains; how could I possibly deserve such high regard from you? You are truly too gracious." 0

"Can I know," Liu Jia asked, "those people may say such things, but should I really take their words to heart? If I do, they might come looking for trouble. Those cultivators are not bound by the law of the land and could easily bring me to my demise." 0

"Oh, I wonder what the immortal's name is," he thought, realizing he had been rather rude. "What a sin, what a sin." Although Liu Jia felt a bit impatient, his smile was radiant, showing no trace of his inner annoyance. 0

"I see that the prince is too polite," he said, scratching his head. "I am Zhang Chenglin, the Chief of the Moon River Sect's Sishui Branch." 0

Upon hearing the title "Chief," Liu Jia's heart sank. He remembered Leng Gucun had mentioned some matters regarding the Moon River Sect. 0

The Chief held a position equivalent to a Commander in one of the sects, possessing at least Golden Core Stage cultivation and enough prestige to satisfy those two points. In two or three hundred years, only a few talented disciples could truly achieve that level through their own efforts. Such geniuses might not even appear once in several centuries. Once they did appear, they were often monstrous talents. Who knew if this young man before him was one of those? Hearing the title "Chief" made him cautious; after all, being careful would lead to fewer mistakes. 0

Liu Jia immediately became more courteous and asked, "May I ask if Chief Zhang has eaten?" 0

He knew that cultivators often abstained from food and did not consume grains. The delicacies of the mortal realm were burdensome to them; indulging too deeply could lead to an increase in worldly desires and hinder their Immortal Path. 0

With that in mind, he wanted to inquire if Zhang Chenglin had come for that matter. 0

As they entered the back garden of the Prince's Mansion, it was just beginning to feel like summer. However, the flowers in the garden were blooming profusely—red, blue, green, purple—various colors competing for attention. There were so many different varieties that even a flower enthusiast might not recognize them all. Just by looking at those flowers, it was clear that Seventh Prince Liu Jia had spent considerable effort cultivating his garden. It was likely that even when Emperor Liu Qi was alive, his garden never bloomed with such vibrancy throughout the year. 0

Zhang Chenglin nodded; his demeanor was not one of feigned politeness but rather something ingrained in him as a habit. Every gesture and movement left no room for criticism. The sect placed great importance on such matters. On his way here, he had received news from the sect that various sects from three or four neighboring countries had caught wind of the situation and were starting to head this way. That was why he had left the sect to visit the prince—to see how he could assist him in resolving this matter quickly and avoid any prolonged complications. 0

"Indeed," Zhang Chenglin said thoughtfully. " Skytrust Guards has organized a search with the Royal Guard, and he hasn't overlooked neighboring countries either. Now we just need that fellow named Gu to reveal himself." Liu Jia explained. 0

Just as Zhang Chenglin was about to urge Liu Jia and Yi Dong onward, a voice filled with surprise interrupted him. 0

Zhang Chenglin had sensed the source of that voice early on, but he chose not to reveal it. Instead, he wanted to have a few more words with Liu Jia before meeting the newcomer, hoping to give Liu Jia a nudge to help him see the current situation clearly. 0
