Chapter 135: Even Loki Can't Stand It! 0

The room was simpler than Bai Luo had imagined, yet it appeared rather messy. The state of the house likely had little to do with the Reincarnator and Loki—after all, they were both new tenants who had just "moved in." 0

The lights were off, casting a particularly dim light that, combined with the disarray, created an oppressive atmosphere. 0

However, Bai Luo and Lorna were clearly not the type to be affected by their surroundings. 0

A young man named Sato Ryuseki led the way, explaining as he walked, "The power supply here has been unstable for a while, so... we just don’t turn on the lights to avoid them flickering. It’s a bit dark, I hope you don’t mind." 0

He was like a hospitable host trying to explain the shortcomings of his home to guests who rarely visited, haphazardly tidying up the clutter on the sofa and table before inviting the two to sit down. 0

Bai Luo asked, "Is it just you here?" 0

He was, of course, referring to Loki. 0

The young man with an appearance that didn’t quite match his name smiled again, seemingly unaware of the implication behind Bai Luo's question. Instead, he replied, "There’s one more person, but he got a bit scared recently and is currently not presentable." 0

Bai Luo glanced toward the staircase, thinking that Loki was certainly not someone who should be hidden away. 0

But Bai Luo said nothing further; instead, he smiled and accepted the invitation to sit on the sofa. 0

Seeing Lorna and Bai Luo settled down, Sato Ryuseki also took a seat on a nearby sofa. His thick frameless glasses reflected a slight glimmer of light, giving him a somewhat endearing appearance. After a moment's thought, he said, "I haven't introduced your wife." 0

"Lorna," Lorna interjected directly before Bai Luo could speak. "Lorna Dane." 0

Sato Ryuseki nodded with a smile and said, "You really are quite beautiful—though I feel like I've heard your name somewhere before." 0

Bai Luo took over the conversation, smiling as he said, "Is that so... Lorna is indeed quite famous—have you heard of me?" 0

This time, Sato Ryuseki shook his head. He adjusted his heavy glasses and replied, "But I believe you must also be a well-known figure in this world." 0

Meanwhile, far away on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Aircraft Carrier, Nick Fury rubbed his chin, looking at the chaotic yet calm building displayed on the live feed. He felt a bit frustrated, thinking to himself that he needed to hurry up and take action. What was this guy doing right now? 0

He turned his gaze to another battle occurring in Water City. There, Vikas and others were fighting with all their might. Vikas floated above the ground like a deity, radiating a divine light as he battled the Reincarnator on the ground. It was clear that he wasn't using his full strength, yet he still held an absolute advantage in this confrontation. 0

This guy was undoubtedly a formidable presence. 0

On the ground, Phil Coulson, sent by Nick Fury, was also feeling frustrated. In his view, with Bai Luo, Lorna, and Banner—three heavyweight figures—dealing with a frail young man and Hulk should pose no problem at all. They could even go in hard if necessary. However, he never expected Bai Luo to choose such an approach. They had entered, but it completely contradicted their plan for a quick and efficient resolution! 0

But now that things had developed to this point, Coulson couldn't do anything but wait quietly to see how the situation unfolded. 0

In the room, regarding Bai Luo's question, Sato Ryuseki merely smiled slightly and asked, "Perhaps... have you heard of Hatsune Miku?" 0

Bai Luo leaned back into the soft sofa, paused for a moment before replying, "I have. The commotion in Water City seems to be caused by a group called 'Hatsune Victory' who are labeled as terrorists." 0

Sato Ryuseki asked, "Do you think that's the case?" 0

Bai Luo responded, "Who can say for sure? But perhaps it is indeed true. This group took away the Cosmic Cube and allied with Loki to destroy half of Nishiden River District, plunging both Water City and Japan into chaos. If they aren't terrorists, then who would be?" 0

Sato Ryuseki fell silent for a moment after hearing this. "What if this 'terrorist' group only wants to resolve their own troubles? What if they never intended for things to escalate to this point?" 0

Bai Luo replied, "Who can understand the behavior of terrorists? Moreover, what they want or don't want is beyond our control—what I'm most curious about is if there were such a terrorist group whose sudden goal wasn't aligned with yours; how would you feel about that?" 0

Sato Ryuseki stared at Bai Luo for quite some time. In the dim light, it seemed as though he could see through this person before him who shared his yellow skin. 0

Yet they were two individuals—one Chinese and one Japanese. 0

After a moment, Sato Ryuseki said, "That's quite an interesting question. I think there are two possibilities. First, this group that everyone sees as Terrorists is fundamentally different from actual Terrorists. Second, they want to achieve their goals through different means and methods. 0

"But I believe that the group you refer to as 'Hatsune Miku' has purposes that embody both of these aspects." 0

He paused here, and a rare cold glint flickered in his eyes behind the thick lenses, revealing an unusual side of him. However, his next words nearly caused Bai Luo to fall off his chair. 0

The man named Sato Ryuseki pondered for a moment before quietly stating, "Moreover, Hatsune is a person—Hatsune Miku. She is not a bad person. We uphold her ideals as we survive and fight in this world. We... are the righteous force." 0

Upon hearing this, Bai Luo couldn't help but twitch the corners of his mouth, feeling somewhat exasperated. Yet, from this conversation, it was clear that the other party had indeed revealed additional information—there were other thoughts or ideas emerging within this group known as Hatsune Miku's Reincarnators. 0

But before Bai Luo could speak, a voice rang out from behind them at the stairwell of the ordinary Japanese apartment on the second floor: "Well, what a coincidence! Look who has come to visit!" 0

Everyone turned around, and even in the dim light of the room, they could see Loki descending step by step from upstairs, staff in hand. 0
