Chapter 124: The Raiders

At that very moment, Lorna managed to knock the tranquilizer gun out of the Reincarnator's hand. It flew out through a hole in the aircraft and plummeted toward the vast earth below.
Only then did the Reincarnator turn to face Bai Luo and Lorna, slowly raising the blade in his hand.
This was clearly part of the Reincarnators' strategy. They deduced that those suppressing -1000 and the untransformed Banner were on this aircraft. Thus, they sent someone to break through and unexpectedly take down Banner with a tranquilizer gun to prevent him from transforming into Hulk and becoming a major threat to their team. The Reincarnators weren't foolish either; knowing there was someone aboard who could manipulate metal, it was unlikely they would bring metal weapons on board—no wonder Bai Luo found that knife odd; it all made sense now.
However, this guy… had he really used a plastic knife to cut through the exterior of an aircraft built with special materials by S.H.I.E.L.D?
Just as they exchanged these words, the Reincarnator across from them shouted "Hah!" and raised his Katana like lightning, charging toward them with incredible speed. Bai Luo barely had time to draw a Tortoise Shell Talisman and raise it as a shield when the shrieking Katana came crashing down upon it.
A loud crash echoed through the area as Bai Luo's body sank slightly but managed to absorb the blow.
At the same moment, Lorna made her move. A vibrant, dark green light, reminiscent of the Aurora, danced between her hands. In an instant, the iron bench connected to the aircraft was yanked down, and amidst the flying metal screws, a gap opened beside Bai Luo, sending debris crashing toward the Japanese Chuunibyou Reincarnator wielding a plastic weapon.
The Reincarnator reacted with lightning speed, retreating swiftly and slashing sideways with a knife, instantly cleaving the metal bench controlled by Lorna in half.
Bai Luo witnessed firsthand what it meant for plastic to shatter metal. The sturdy iron bench was effortlessly sliced apart, its edges smooth and even. In contrast, the lightweight plastic knife in the Reincarnator's hand remained unscathed, as if it were brand new.
However, that strike proved ineffective.
For Lorna, the severed bench was still metal; now divided into two pieces, it became more maneuverable for her. She launched attacks from both sides toward the central Reincarnator.
The Reincarnator clearly recognized this threat. If he continued to slash wildly, he would only create more fragments of the bench, posing an even greater danger to himself. Therefore, this time he took direct action, forcefully pushing the two metal pieces away before darting toward Lorna with the intent to eliminate her first.
But… there was still Bai Luo standing in front of Lorna.
