"According to reports from the agents stationed in Desert Town, four oddly dressed individuals are approaching."
Inside the command vehicle, Phil Coulson listened to his subordinate's report, his brow furrowed deeply. The appearance of someone claiming to be a god had initially been dismissed, but now there were four more, boldly making their entrance. It was hard for him not to believe in what had once seemed absurd.
'Could it be that gods really exist in this world?'
With this thought in mind, Phil decided to investigate further. The first step was to establish communication with them.
As Sif and her companions entered the town, the resonance of divine power guided them, ensuring they were on the right path.
When Thor saw the four tapping on the glass window, surprise lit up his face, while Jane and her friends were already frozen in shock.
'Oh my God, could this all be real?'
Staring blankly at Thor and Sif catching up, Jane didn't know what to say. Her friend Daisy's quiet inquiry broke through her thoughts. "Hey, Jane, don't you think this is all a bit strange?"
"It is indeed strange; otherwise, why wouldn't I have believed it before?" Jane replied with a wry smile. "But now it's hard not to believe, given the evidence right in front of us."
Eric, one of Jane's friends, looked frustrated. "I thought that kind of situation was something you'd only see once in a hundred years. Who knew it was caused by this guy?"
He had originally thought that unraveling the mystery of this physical phenomenon would lead him to great discoveries, but instead, it turned out to involve 'divine' transportation.
While he lamented how a big oaf had become the so-called God of Thunder, Thor was immersed in the bad news brought by his friends. He never expected that after being cast down to Earth, so much turmoil would unfold in Asgard.
His father was in a coma, Loki had seized power and was attempting to overthrow Asgard. Thor wanted nothing more than to confront his brother and demand an explanation for his actions. "Why are you doing this? I gave you everything."
Seeing the look of anger and despair on Thor's face, Sif couldn't help but offer some comfort. "Things haven't reached a point of no return yet. As long as you go back now and take charge, Loki's scheme won't succeed."
"But what can I do now? I'm just an ordinary man," Thor replied with a bitter smile. He was nothing more than a slightly stronger human at this point, unable to even defeat an ordinary soldier from Asgard.
"Isn't Mjolnir still here? Why don't you try lifting it?" Vostagg suggested.
Thor shrugged helplessly at the suggestion. "I've tried; it didn't work."
The group found themselves at a loss.
At that moment, a colorful thundercloud descended from the distance, its presence impossible to ignore.
As they looked on, they saw a towering Metal Giant standing far away, gazing towards Desert Town.
Thor's expression changed instantly. "It's the Destroyer!"
"Dammit, Loki is trying to kill us all!" The wise Vandal quickly discerned Loki's intentions. He wanted to completely eliminate Thor and his allies to monopolize Asgard.
Thor's face shifted through various emotions before he gritted his teeth and said, "You all need to leave quickly. That guy is definitely coming for me."
With that, he dashed out of the house, heading towards the Destroyer.
The others hurried after him, fearing he might do something reckless.
The Destroyer's speed wasn't particularly fast, but it wasn't far from Desert Town either. Its first encounter wasn't with Thor but with the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who were preparing defenses just outside Desert Town.
As the group drew closer, Phil looked on in astonishment. "What the hell is this? Stark's new weapon?"
The short-haired girl beside him scoffed, "It's obviously not."
Just as Phil was lost in thought, the Destroyer’s faceplate suddenly opened, and a burst of orange-red energy shot out.
Boom!
With a deafening roar, a S.H.I.E.L.D. patrol vehicle was blown to smithereens, the shockwave forcing Phil and the others to drop to the ground.
Through the Destroyer, Loki sat atop the Celestial Palace Throne, light-years away, letting out a cold laugh.
Without any hindrance, the Destroyer breached S.H.I.E.L.D.'s defenses. The short-haired girl next to Phil stood up and charged straight at the Destroyer.
Watching this unfold through the Destroyer, Loki sneered, "Overestimating yourself!"
Garnier suddenly halted as the Destroyer swung its fist with a roar.
The girl shouted loudly, her right fist colliding with the metallic fist, producing a resounding bang.
In the next moment, Loki's expression shifted to one of surprise; the Destroyer was actually pushed back?
The girl remained unmoved, her expression icy as she stared at the Destroyer. She provocatively beckoned with her fingers. "Come on, big guy. Let's see whose power is stronger—yours or mine."
When had she ever faced such provocation? Loki's face darkened with anger, while Garnier stood frozen in disbelief.
The Destroyer's power continued to grow as it clashed with the girl. Such immense strength would have turned an ordinary person into nothing but a pile of flesh, yet the girl remained completely unharmed.
If one were observant, they would notice that every time the iron fist was about to strike the girl, it was repelled by a mysterious force.
Others might not know, but Shasha, who was secretly watching from a distance, understood clearly that this ability was quite similar to her own Quake Fruit. This was Vibration; although its power was not as strong as hers, it was still formidable.
If she guessed correctly, this short-haired girl who bore a striking resemblance to Angelina Jolie was none other than the third Tenth Level Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., aside from Nick Fury and Natasha—Daisy Johnson, known as Quake.
She vaguely remembered that this girl had participated in an operation against her last time, but her overwhelming defeat of Magneto had left them too intimidated to act.
"I never expected that Nick would cultivate such a powerful weapon. No wonder he could so confidently let Natasha sit on the sidelines. Is this what it means to be fearless?"
With this thought, a cold smile crept onto Shasha's lips.
