Surprised, I quickly raised the lighter in my hand to see where I was. In the dim light, I realized I was in the bathroom from the mirror, with everything reversed—walls, tiles, and objects all flipped. The tiles were worn and covered in brownish spots, occasionally oozing black liquid that emitted a foul stench. 0

The reflection in the mirror showed my home’s bathroom, but I was nowhere to be seen. At that moment, I felt as if I had entered a realm beyond human comprehension. Just as I was at a loss, the lighter began to feel hot from being lit for too long. 0

I wanted to find a candle to light instead of holding the lighter. However, when I looked at the spot where the candles were usually placed, I found that the white candle had turned red. Since the lighter was becoming difficult to hold, without thinking twice, I lit it. 0

I quickly put away the lighter and shook my hand, which was stinging from the heat. Suddenly, a thought struck me: "If I try what I just did again, could it bring me back to my original world?" 0

With that thought, I slapped my thigh and began to chant. After reciting it three times, I remembered that I couldn't make any sound; even if I finished chanting, it would have no effect. 0

Anxiously, I scanned the room for anything that could help me. Toothpaste, towels, facial cleanser—there was nothing useful at all, not even anything that could help me understand my current situation. 0

I started to panic and grabbed a glass from the sink, smashing it on the floor. The glass shattered into countless pieces upon hitting the ground but made no sound at all. 0

This world was terrifyingly quiet; it felt as if any noise would be instantly swallowed up without a trace. Under the candlelight, I looked at my hands mirrored back at me—everything was reversed—like staring at a monster. 0

Just when I felt utterly helpless, a dark red light suddenly appeared through the crack under the door. Hurriedly, I approached and opened it. The moment I swung the door open, I was stunned. 0

Before me lay an estate surrounded by vast fields of black roses. In the center stood a massive and ornate fountain continuously spewing dark red liquid. Behind it loomed a castle with a strong European Renaissance architectural style, yet upon closer inspection, it bore hints of Early Byzantine influences from Eastern Europe, exuding an air of extreme luxury. Towering behind it was a Clock Tower that clashed starkly with the castle's design. 0

I thought to myself, "Could this be Countess Hu Fang's castle?" With that thought in mind, my feet moved involuntarily forward. Looking up again, I was once more taken aback by what lay before me: blood-red skies filled with dark clouds enveloped the entire estate, with lightning occasionally slicing through them as if plunging into hell once more. 0

But as soon as I stepped out of the house, I sensed something unusual. Turning back quickly revealed my shock—the door through which I'd just exited had vanished without a sound. In its place stood a massive iron door covered in rust and overgrown with rose vines. 0

Seeing there was no way back, I had no choice but to press onward. The path was littered with thorny vines that forced me to swing my sword back and forth to clear my way. 0

At that moment, I noticed several thin figures appearing ahead of me, slowly wandering aimlessly through the thicket of thorns. 0

Curiosity piqued, I crouched down and tried to avoid the prickly vines as I moved closer to the moving shadows. 0

As I approached, I realized that these slowly moving figures were actually people. Their eyes had been ruthlessly gouged out, and their mouths were tightly sewn shut with thread. They seemed lost in this rose garden, allowing the thorns to scrape against their skin, blood flowing continuously from their lacerated wounds. 0

Every time I moved forward a bit, more of these figures appeared before me. Suddenly, I recalled the story told by Hu Fang: "Wasn't her friend the one who had her eyes gouged out? Could these people be those who were cruelly murdered by Bloody Mary? And it seems their souls are permanently trapped here. Am I destined to be imprisoned like them?" 0

Thinking this made my heart tighten. In this soundless space, I began to feel increasingly oppressed and anxious. If those were the vengeful spirits of the dead, then at this moment, was I alive or dead? 0

Gradually, my inner awareness began to deviate. But I understood that in such moments, panicking would only make things worse. I struggled to remain calm and tightened my grip on Jiang Ling, trying to stabilize my mindset. 0

Just then, I saw a group of vengeful spirits suddenly stop in unison, all raising their heads to gaze towards the direction of the Clock Tower. 0

I thought something significant was about to happen and quickly pressed myself into the thicket, quietly observing the vengeful spirits while preparing for whatever might occur next. 0

However, those vengeful spirits merely stood there blankly. Just as I was considering slipping into the ancient castle, a deafening bell sound echoed through the air. The noise was jarring in such a silent environment, causing me to instinctively cover my ears. 0

After a moment, I released my hands, but upon hearing the sound, the vengeful spirits began to rush towards the Clock Tower as if fleeing from an impending disaster. 0

Before long, the vast rose garden was left with only me. With no time to think and unwilling to follow those vengeful spirits toward the Clock Tower, I ran straight for the entrance of the ancient castle. 0

As I reached the enormous door and was about to push it open, it slowly creaked open by itself. What greeted me was an exceptionally spacious foyer adorned with various medieval decorations. A massive chandelier hung from the ceiling, exuding an air of opulence. 0

Yet my mind was too preoccupied to appreciate it; all I wanted was to find a way back. Just then, a force from behind pushed me inside. Caught off guard, I stumbled into the castle. 0

I silently cursed my luck as I turned to leave, only to find the door behind me slamming shut. I hurriedly pounded on the door, trying to force it open. But the door stood over three meters tall and weighed at least a thousand pounds; no matter how hard I pushed, it wouldn’t budge. 0

Leaning against the door, I sank to the ground, thinking, "This is just one misstep after another; I'm doomed. But if I stay out here, I won't be able to go back either. I guess I'll just have to take it one step at a time." 0

With that thought in mind, I stood up and surveyed my surroundings. This hall was unlike any medieval architecture I had seen before; there was no staircase leading directly to the second floor. Instead, it was a large square room with corridors on both sides. 0

For a moment, I was unsure of where to go. In my confusion, I glanced at the Jiang Ling in my hand, deciding to use it to guide me. With a firm grip, I threw the sword into the air. When it landed, the tip pointed towards the left corridor. Picking up the sword, I headed down that path. 0

As soon as I stepped inside, a strong smell of blood hit me, and an ominous feeling spread within me. The corridor appeared to stretch at least sixty or seventy meters long, with numerous rooms neatly lined up on either side, each labeled with names in English. 0

Halfway down the corridor, a door suddenly swung open without warning, startling me completely. 0

Upon closer inspection, I noticed a message written in blood on the wall opposite the door: "Let her find herself!" Other than that, the room contained no furniture whatsoever. 0

As I pondered this strange sight, every door around me suddenly opened wide. Except for the room marked with Blood Writing, a woman with long hair emerged from each of the other rooms. 0

They were dressed in Medieval Europe attire; some looked quite luxurious while others appeared rather plain. Instinctively, I ducked into the room marked with Blood Writing and gently closed the door behind me. 0

Through a crack in the door, I saw that all of these women had their eyes gouged out. However, unlike the Vengeful Spirits outside, their mouths were not sewn shut. They wandered aimlessly in the corridor, occasionally reaching out as if trying to grasp something. 0

At that moment, two of them seemed to collide with each other. They paused for a moment before their faces began to contort grotesquely; their mouths stretched wider and wider until they tore their heads apart. Rows of sharp fangs sprouted from the gaping wounds. 0

In an instant, they began to gnaw at each other. As they fought, they brushed against others nearby. Those touched women also tore open their own heads to reveal fangs and joined in the fray. 0

Within moments, chaos erupted in the corridor as blood and flesh flew everywhere. Only two or three monsters remained on the ground, continuously gnawing at the remains of those who had been torn apart. 0

I noticed that they had almost no vision and relied entirely on touch to locate their prey, so I thought I could sneak out while those monsters were busy gnawing. Just then, I felt a chill creeping up from behind me. 0

I turned around abruptly, and to my shock, there was something behind me that looked just like the monsters outside. My heart raced as I wondered, "When did she come in? This room was supposed to be empty..." 0

As I thought this, I suddenly spotted an open door to my left, leading to an adjacent room. It dawned on me that almost all the rooms were interconnected; I had just been too anxious earlier to notice. 0

The monster behind me was getting closer, and just as it was about to touch me, I hurriedly yanked the door open. I intended to make my escape, but the creature that had been gnawing on the corpse seemed to lose interest in anything that wasn't moving and began wandering around again, searching for a target. 0

I opened the door too hastily and nearly collided with a monster that was ambling toward the entrance. I quickly reached out and grabbed the doorframe to steady myself. 0

But at that moment, I could feel the monster behind me was about to make contact with my body, while in front of me loomed a massive mouth filled with blood and fangs, blocking my path. 0

"Is this really the end for me?" 0
