Eileen and Lisa struggled to break through the encirclement of the townspeople, pushing forward with all their might. However, the overwhelming mass of townsfolk moved toward them like zombies, their steps stiff and relentless. Their eyes sparkled with a frenzied light, whispering in a mysterious language as if driven by some irresistible force. 0

Eileen fought to shove the townspeople aside, trying to carve a path for herself and Lisa. Her heart raced like a drum, cold sweat trickling down her cheeks. Yet, every time she pushed one townsman away, more quickly filled the gap, tightening their grip around them. 0

"Come on! We have to get out of here!" Eileen shouted urgently at Lisa, her voice filled with desperation and fear. 0

Just then, Mark suddenly burst from the crowd, grabbing Lisa's wrist with a wild gleam in his eyes. "Lisa! Come back! I can feel your good intentions! Eileen... Eileen is beyond saving!" 0

Lisa looked at Mark in confusion, her eyes filled with bewilderment and struggle. She couldn't understand why he had become this way, so frantic and unstable. Fear gripped her heart, but she couldn't bear to abandon her companion. 0

"Mark, what are you talking about? We have to leave together!" Lisa tried to break free from Mark's grasp, but his strength was too great for her to escape. 0

Eileen desperately grabbed Lisa's other hand, trying to pull her away. "Lisa, don't listen to him! We have to escape together!" 0

However, Mark's grip was too strong, and with more townspeople closing in around them, they were completely trapped. The townsfolk reached out toward them, their eyes filled with fervor and hatred, as if ready to tear them apart at any moment. 0

"You don't understand!" Mark shouted madly. "This is the will of the divine! We must obey!" 0

Surrounded by an ever-growing crowd, the space became unbearably tight. The townspeople reached out with frenzied hands as if to seize Eileen and Lisa, proving their absolute reverence for the divine. Their hands clutched at their clothes, arms, even hair, gripping so tightly that Eileen felt sharp pangs of pain. 0

Eileen struggled to breathe; it felt as though a heavy weight pressed down on her chest, making each breath incredibly difficult. The townspeople's eyes were filled with fervor and hatred; it seemed that capturing these two sinners would grant them some form of sacred redemption. 0

"The will of the divine must be obeyed!" one townsman shouted loudly, his grip tightening as if he were about to rip Eileen's clothes apart. 0

Lisa was also captured by the frenzied townspeople. Fear and helplessness flickered in her eyes, yet she clung tightly to Erin's hand, trying to find a glimmer of hope amidst the chaos. 0

At that moment, Raphael knelt devoutly on the platform, raising his head and shouting loudly, "The prophecy... the prophecy is being fulfilled! Rejoice! Immerse yourselves! Tremble under His Great Achievement! Villains! You will never prevail!" 0

His voice echoed within the church, imbued with an unparalleled fervor and zeal. The townspeople, hearing this, became even more frenzied, their fingers gripping Erin and Lisa's bodies like iron, mercilessly pulling them closer. 0

Erin felt a wave of despair wash over her; she knew they were completely trapped, unable to escape this sea of fanaticism. 0

"Welcome the arrival of the divine!" the townspeople shouted madly, their eyes gleaming with a sickly light. 0

Ultimately, Erin could not withstand the overwhelming crowd and was knocked to the ground. She felt the townspeople's hands gripping her limbs like iron claws, ruthlessly pinning her down. Her breathing became rapid and labored, as if a massive stone were pressing against her chest; each breath felt like a struggle for survival. 0

The townspeople's hands gripped her wrists and ankles tightly, their fingers cold and hard as steel. Each touch sent waves of agony through her, as if they were trying to tear her apart. Erin's body was forcibly pressed against the ground, her face pressed against the cold stone floor, making the world around her blur into darkness. 0

Lisa was firmly held by Mark, whose eyes were filled with fervor and madness. He muttered something as if engaged in some bizarre prayer. Leaning close to Lisa's ear, Mark whispered something that caused her face to pale instantly, fear and confusion flashing in her eyes. 0

"Mark, let me go!" Lisa cried out in terror, but Mark's grip was like a vice on her wrist, preventing her from breaking free. 0

Erin struggled on the ground and shouted at Lisa, "Lisa! Don't listen to him! We have to escape together!" 0

However, the townspeople's feet mercilessly trampled over her. Each blow felt like a heavy hammer striking down upon her, rendering her immobile. Erin felt her body growing heavier and her breathing increasingly difficult, as if every ounce of oxygen in the air was being snatched away. 0

"We have to get out of here!" Erin screamed with all her might, but her voice was drowned out by the frenzied shouts of the townspeople; no one heard her. 0

The footsteps of the townspeople echoed in her ears like thunder, leaving her feeling dizzy. Her vision blurred, and the scene before her gradually darkened. Erin felt as if she were being swallowed by an endless darkness, her consciousness fading away. 0

In the last moment before she lost consciousness, Erin saw Lisa's terrified eyes and heard her distant cries. However, those sounds and images became distant and hazy, as if separated by a thick fog. Erin tried to reach out for Lisa, but her strength was waning, and her arms fell limply at her sides. 0

Erin's eyelids grew heavy; she could no longer resist the pull of this dark force. Ultimately, everything before her turned pitch black, and her awareness sank completely into the abyss of darkness. She felt as though she were plummeting into an endless chasm, surrounded by silence, with only the rapid beating of her heart echoing in her ears. 0

The townspeople continued to shout fervently, their eyes glinting with a sickly light. Their voices reverberated within the church, as if they were engaged in some bizarre ritual. Erin could no longer hear these sounds; her consciousness was wholly consumed by darkness, leaving only an infinite silence. 0

In this darkness, Erin felt an unprecedented sense of loneliness and despair. Her thoughts became muddled, as if she were disappearing into this endless void. Her breathing grew weaker, and the sound of her heartbeat gradually faded away. 0

At last, Erin's world fell completely into silence, as if everything had come to an end. Her consciousness was utterly engulfed by darkness, leaving only endless quiet and solitude, like an unfathomable abyss from which there was no escape. 0
